When the bag first arrived it looked and still looks, classy--and with none of the smells for which other leather bags were being downgraded. Based on the first few weeks, it would have been a 5-star rating, but I wanted to give my assessment time beyond the first impression. Unfortunately, after about 5 months, the top zippers broke within a week of each other. However, I contacted customer service to see about the one year warranty and they were very friendly, offering to pay for my shipping to replace the zipper and zipper heads, or to send me the zipper and zipper heads and reimburse me for a tailor replacing the zipper and heads. My impression is 4+ stars.

OMG this is the best item I have ever put my hands on. The leather is stiff and you can feel the quality. It even smells like a brand new car. My ONLY complaint is on one of the inside pockets, it wasnt stitched all the way and I hope it doesnt start to unravel over time. If I could take one item to heaven with me when I go, it would definitely be this backpack.

I absolutely love the bag. The quality is awesome and the design is impeccable. Would highly recommend this bag over most leather bags you can purchase locally and online. I love it and it came on time and in good condition. The bag is designed very well and for a person like me who is a professional and a student, it meets my needs. I am able to carry all of my books without it being bulky or unwieldy. The laptop compartment fits my IPAD pro 12.9 perfectly.

I ride a motorcycle most of the time and need extra storage space. Not only is this backpack beautiful, it has a place for just about anything you can think of.

This leather backpack met all my expectations. It easily accommodates a MacBook Pro and lots of other things in its many pockets. I used this bag the first time as an overnight travel bag and found plenty of room for magazines, a newspaper, a shaving bag, and clothing. The velcro closures on the outside pocket are a welcome addition. I used one of them for my MacBook Pro charging cord and iPhone charging cord. The adjustable back straps are easy to adjust and comfortable for carrying the bag. Additionally, there is a convenient lift and carrying handle on top making it easy to move when fully loaded or if you choose not to carry it on your back. Prior to using the bag, I applied Lexol leather cleaner to protect the leather as I have to all my leather products for many years. A hook inside the bag or one of its pockets to hold a key ring would be a useful addition. Overall, this bag is a very good value for its cost.

This was my first Polare purchase after reading a lot of the reviews. It wont be my last. I was very pleasantly surprised when the bag arrived. It smelled like leather & it was high quality nice think & durable. The pockets are all velcro and attach fine with the leatherc lasp there for additional security. Ony nifty thing I like is this bag has a compartment up against your back where you could store passport/cash etc without it iether being uncomfortable while at the same time maintaining complete security. The lining is nice and soft and all well stitched. Again, the interior is abreadth with compartments, pen holders, sleeves etc. I took this on my first trip & had three people ask where I got the bag & when I referred them they were surprised at such a great quality & value. Polare great quality & from others the warranty & support seems outstanding although as well constructed as this I expect not to need anything for years to come.

This is a good quality, THICK leather backpack. The leather is new and STIFF so it will need to be broken in before it takes on the character of the lived-in vintage personality of a good leather bag. This bag was a great buy and I had no doubts once I saw it in person that I would be happy. Leather requires some simple maintenance though: Coconut oil can help lubricate zippers. Beeswax can help slow down a loose zipper or help a loose strap in the front to get a grip. Leather conditioner and oil helps with water spots and cleaning. There are a few ways to make the bag more comfortable: 1) leave it in the original condition and keep using it! Over a good amount of time, the leather will soften. 2) Break it in by hand. This involves bending, kneading, twisting, rolling, folding every inch of the leather. Think of it like breaking in new leather shoes...as one walks in them, the shoes begin to develop characteristic creases as they bend near the toes with each step. 3) Water and oil/ leather conditioner: I dont mean wash the backpack, but instead, use a few drops of water to rub some character in areas. Leather oils and conditioners can help as well to bring out some fantastic depth of color and tone in the natural leather. Say that you want the edges to be darker, use a TINY amount of oil to help darken the areas that you want darker. Also, leather product, just like leather shoes, will need a clean and a shine every now and then in order to look its best.

This Backpack has worked out great! I am in the construction industry and I need to carry measuring devices and other small tools and the amount of pockets and the size work wonderfully for carrying all that I need. My laptop fits securely and there is ample room inside for my notebook and files. The construction of the product is rugged and looks great! It fits well over my shoulders and is comfortable and I have had many compliments from people. I recommend this product to anyone looking to get rid of their traditional briefcase.

I bought this for my husband over a year ago. He has carried it back and forth to work every day for a year. It looks brand new. Great product! Update - The bag is in perfect condition leather wise. One of the inside pouches has ripped away so when you put things in it they just fall in. The bag is now 2 years old and is in such remarkable shape after every day I want to have it repaired. Any suggestions?

This bag is great. Ive had it for about 8 moths now and it looks as good as when I bought it. I do a lot of traveling and I literally was asked about it on my last flight. First a great compliment and they kept going on so I mentioned I bought it from Amazon on a lightening deal. They were amazed. The bag can hold a lot of items but one thing to note is there isnt any flexibility with it and it is a bit heavier than a normal computer bag. However, those are all over ridden by its style and what it can do. Very happy with the purchase and am amazed at the quality for the price.
