My wife purchased this bag for me as I was in the market for a new computer backpack since I had been using her Swiss Gear backpack for the past 6 months for work. When she first showed me the order online I wasnt that thrilled as its not what I am used to seeing in a laptop backpack. The day it arrived I opened up the box and was surprised at how well packaged it was for shipping. It was in a breathable cloth bag that was in an airtight plastic bag...nice. Opened the packaging and was immediately hit w/ the awesome smell of new leather, its like new car smell :) which is the best! I transferred all my gear (laptop, charger, dongles, headset, mouse, usb keys, notepads, padfolio, pens, phone charger, medicine, etc) out of the Swiss gear bag into my new bag and found that I had more room in this bag than in the Swiss gear bag! I really love all the pockets on the front as it accommodates all my work gear and is great for organizing it. All my dongles and chargers fit perfectly in the top outside horizontal pocket. The main compartment for the laptop is like a cavern, so much stuff can go in there and it provides more organization with two pen holders and two medium size pockets. There is also a zippered pocket in the inside top, which is great for storing my desk keys and usb keys. You have both a laptop and tablet holder, I use the tablet holder to keep my loose papers in for better organization. Another great feature is that this backpack stands up on its own and doesnt slouch or fall over like every other backpack I have seen/used as its sturdy. I also prefer this over the Swiss gear as when I wear it on one shoulder the bag stays in place, I dont have to hold the strap to keep it from falling off my shoulder, and the bag stays on my back as opposed to falling in between my arm and side like a normal backpack would. All in all you cant go wrong with using this as your laptop backpack, it has great features and organization, its not your run of the mill backpack that everyone at the office has, its well built, and it looks and feels amazing. This bag will hold up to a 17 laptop. I tested with a 15 Dell Precision 5520 and a 17 HP Envy. The 17 is snug and sits right below the main zipper, no issues closing the zipper though. With either the 15 and 17 I was also able to fit a 13 Dell Latitude e7240 in the tablet holder! I was able to fit a 16.9 fl oz water bottle in one of the side holders and a 15.9 fl oz thermos for coffee in the other side holder. Seems to hold up with the weight of two laptops and two drink containers.

I rarely take the time to provide input on products but for this one I feel it warrants it. I bought this back in January 2018 and have been extremely satisfied. I travel fairly often and this has become my go to bag not only for my daily commute briefcase, but also for overnight short stay trips and long trips as carry on. The pockets are many and the bag itself is extremely durable leather. I continually get compliments on the look and functionality. My only complaint was one of the top zipper pulls came off shortly after I bought it but luckily there are two pulls. Once I got used to a single pull Ive not missed the broken one. Other than that I would highly recommend.

I use it for travel it has a lot of pockets on the outside its divided up well on the inside its easy to get to everything on it and its rugged looks good

I was looking for a solid, hardy, backpack and after a lot of searching and comparing I settled on this one. Pros: Roomier than expected. I had read that there was space for a laptop, but there is also enough volume for several books, a tablet, etc. Excellent number of compartments. Given that this bag is now my all day away from home bag it has enough individualized space to house the various utilities and items that I had previously thrown into a single bag together. Quality. I confess I dont know leather as well as some, but this bag feels a lot like some of the best leather items I have ever owned. Feels like it will last a long time with care. Aesthetic. I am ready to rob tombs with this bag. Cons: Velcro on the outer pockets. This seemed out of place on such an antiquarian looking bag. Padding on shoulder straps. With a full load these can dig a little, but only if you arent wearing jacket. Overall I would highly recommend!

I have had this bag for one and a half years and purposely waited to write this review. I wanted to see how this bag would hold up over time. I stuff this bag with so much on a daily basis...numerous books and other things that make it very heavy. This bag has held up beautifully!! No problems at all...and the leather itself has worn so nicely. So after a year and a half, I give this backpack a top rating!

While I love the backpack look (and really WANT to love it), it so far has a few details that are lacking, no doubt as a result to keep the price point down. First of all, the back pocket straps are only tension closed (there is no snap, velcro or whatever) - but the leather that goes through the connector is too thin to actually have tension, thus the pockets want to open all the time. I knew this from reading other reviews, so it wasnt a deal breaker for me. Today I wore the pack for the first time to work, and am a bit irritated that the shoulder strap tension doesnt stay put. The cloth material is apparently too thin and/or slick for the rings to stay firm, so the backpack constantly wants to slide down my back, and you have to continually pull the tension back, or hang on to the strap ends. Perhaps some form of loop to keep the strap ends close to the straps themselves would help (they dangle loosely). Overall, not a bad bag, but a few details would really help bring up the quality in terms of usability.

To start off with, the bag smells AMAZING. This bag is definitely made of real leather, and feels and looks great, and marks easily, like leather should, and I like the aged look of the marks. The reason this bag receives 4 instead of 5 stars is the leather dye. After reading several reviews about this bag bleeding onto clothing, I decided to rub a white rag across the bag the moment I unwrapped it. Sure enough, it came saturated in dark, reddish brown dye. Im not a leather worker, so I cannot tell you why this is, but it was worth checking. I am a mechanic, my car interior is black, and most of my clothes are black or dark blue, and I come home most nights covered in oil, so this will not be an issue with me, my wife however, likes to wear bright clothing, so she will be unable to use my bag. I recommended curing the bag with Leather Honey to keep it protected, cause investing this much money in a bag would be ridiculous if you didnt take care of it. That being said, I look forward to putting some hard hours on this thing and seeing how long it holds up. On another note, the straps are leather and the cliché bag strap material, and use the strap through loop method (similar to military duffel bags, except without the teeth to held the straps in place) and are NOT padded. If you have weak shoulders, wear a thick jacket, or pack light, cause over time this could wear on you, and the straps may loosen. I would recommend this bag to others, as long as they dont wear light colored clothes a lot. As to the reviews about the zipper, it does appear rather small toothed for a leather bag, but that doesnt bother me, and there is a leather working shop near me I can use to upgrade the zippers. I have not had it long enough to see how well it holds up, but I will post a new review if it does not.

Really love this bag. Leather is thicker than expected and the look is great. As far as longevity I will update only if I have issues. I would definitely recommend as a good buy.

Ive had the Backpack for the last three weeks. I use it every day for work. I love this bag, it looks great, its big enough to hold my computers a 15.4 inch Apple Laptop Computer, accessories, paperwork, and other office essentials but its not too big that its difficult to carry or bulky. The interior of the Backpack has two dividers I use one for my laptop computer and the other for my iPad. Plenty of room for my daily planner and other paperwork I need to carry. The outside pockets are great, I store my power supply, pens , note cards, etc. You can use it as a Backpack or as a carrying bag. The leather is thick and robust. The Zippers are smooth; I like the leather cover for the zipper. The shoulder straps adjustments are working great. The side pockets are great for computer cables and accessories. I like the closures in the outer pockets. So far it looks and works fantastic.
