I was very impressed with the Polare Cowhide laptop backpack. It actually looks exactly like the picture online! I purchased it to carry my business equipment back and forth from my office on my motorcycles. Yes, I have 2 bikes. It is perfect for the task. Personally, I have 2 other satchels made from high quality cowhide and the Polare laptop backpack is ever as good as the others I own. The stitching is quality and uniform. The hide is even and beautifully tanned. The pack has plenty of cargo space and fits a 17 inch Macbook pro, an iPad 3 with keyboard as well as files and office supplies. The straps are sturdy and supportive; the inside is padded and protective. I would recommend this product for use as laptop backpack because it is quality and beautiful. AND it smells amazing... :-)

I purchased the leather backpack. The package arrived promptly and was nicely packed. Upon opening the box, and slowly taking off the wrapping, I was hit with a lovely leather scent. As I inspected the bag, I became more excited. The leather is beautiful, soft and thick. Not plastic or fake. FULL GRAIN LEATHER. The buckles are stout, the zippers are smooth and quiet. I get comments on it all the time. It has space for a 17 inch laptop AND a full size iPad. Both fit securely in padded slots. If youre looking for affordable quality, with great customer service, these are the people to support.

SUCH an incredible bag. Blows my mind every time I use it that I got this for such a low price. Good: INCREDIBLE leather. Really thick and super soft. Highest quality material. Normally leather this nice is much, much more expensive. Love all the pockets. Even has a place for the hard drive. It looks exactly like the pictures. I get so many compliments everytime I use it. Bad: The bag hangs on your shoulders a bit. Not much weight is distributed to your back so your shoulders take all the weight. The zipper gets a little stuck every now and again but this is a very minor issue. Love love love this bag.

The first thing I noticed about the bag is the color; oh boy.. I just love it.. absolutely brilliant. The leather seems to be too good and I love it’s smell. The bag is heavy and sturdy. I was worried about the front side pockets being open as I read in some reviews however the front side pockets do have velcro patches making them remain closed while being carried. The only reason I’m giving this a 4 star is because the inside lining could have been little better. Appears to be cheap slik material. I hope that matches up to the strength of the outer leather material.

Almost 3 years and over 300K miles and I truly think this backpack looks better than the first day it arrived. Traveling around the world, this sturdy backpack is never for from my side. I usually carry 2 laptops (Dell and a Surface Pro) along with power supplies and tablet inside. Outside packets for meds, earphones, keys, etc. Side pockets with Anker 26000 battery and umbrella. This thing is rugged. Its been through a lot. Bounced around in an Australian outback land rover, airport security handlers, kicked under conference room desks, rained and snowed on in the Swiss Alps. I get lots of compliments and a couple offers to buy it from me. I highly recommend it for those that need a backpack that will go the distance with you.

I absolutely love the bag. The quality is awesome and the design is impeccable. Would highly recommend this bag over most leather bags you can purchase locally and online. I love it and it came on time and in good condition. The bag is designed very well and for a person like me who is a professional and a student, it meets my needs. I am able to carry all of my books without it being bulky or unwieldy. The laptop compartment fits my IPAD pro 12.9 perfectly.

I have had this for awhile now, wanted to wait before reviewing it review it. I wanted an greyman EDC bag something that did not scream tactical. The only attention this pack draws is nice pack. Looks good with jeans or slacks. One concern I had was that it would lose its shape after a while. It hasn’t it’s excellent quality heavy duty leather. Thick and stiff enough to have held its shape after almost a year of daily use. The one slight flaw is the flap over the zipper tends to curl and not cover the zipper. At first I thought all the pockets were a bit hokey, maybe so but they have served me well, keeping things organized and at my finger tips. Same with the three interior compartments and zippered interior pocket, slots for notepads and pens makes it easy to access what I want instantly. It also makes it easy to swap out items, to suit my needs. On the back side there is a discreet zippered pocket that is hardly noticeable and invisible when wearing the pack. A great spot for a back up or off body carry a little magazine keeps it from imprinting any of the front pockets will hold a spare mag or two. If the pack has a down fall it is that it is large enough to hold more than I am willing to carry around with me all day. In it I carry a 15 Macbook pro, note pads, sketch pad, assorted drawing pens pencils brushes, water color, Nikkon 5000, 2 lens, & assorted camera gear, a trauma kit, shemagh, compact raincoat (its Washington it will rain at anytime), compact binoculars, snacks reading magazine, book and assorted personal odds & end. It gets compliments often and appears to be a pack that cost hundreds of dollars. I read a few complaints about the straps, I disagree with. They are solid sturdy I like who easily they adjust. I set them loose to easily put it on. Rolled up the excess and wrapped ranger bands around them. Once it is on a quick tug tightens the pack up and balances the load. Comfortable hardly noticeable unless I over load it.

Interior is useful for carrying laptop and a few items like a portfolio and a couple of books. Pockets are great for odds and ends.

Best backpack I have ever owned - All cowhide leather and stitched to last, the zippers are quality and is overall very well made. The price is up there but when you get in in your hands and seen how well it is made and the thought that went into it, you will agree it was designed by backpackers. Side note - you will have to reshape it a bit as it will be a little flat from shipping; just pack some paper inside and set it in the sun for a while and it will fill out again. So many people like this pack that I now have it on my shopping list for Christmas.

This’s a great urban back pack, not one that I would take for hiking.
