I ride a motorcycle most of the time and need extra storage space. Not only is this backpack beautiful, it has a place for just about anything you can think of.

After reading the other reviews I knew exactly what to expect and got the product that I paid for. I think the backpack is beautiful. It is made of a very durable leather and has many pockets both inside and out. My only complaint would be that I wish it was a bit larger. It is a very handsome bag and my first time using the backpack a stranger asked me the maker of the bag and where I got it from. Thats the best compliment one can ask for.

I bought this backpack because I usually carry two laptops and an iPad, plus all the power cords/bricks for those devices. As with most commuters there are a number of other items I carry daily for convenience, and there is ample space for all of it. The reason for 4 stars for traveling is that when loaded with my equipment, the straps tend to slip open and I find myself constantly tightening them. It works better with both straps over my shoulder, I usually have the issue when using it as a shoulder bag/pack. I would highly recommend this product, it is gorgeous and very durable.

Top quality product, good for search and rescue, fishing, hiking, backpacking, school and first aid. Very comfortable to wear. Has a nice older type of look but yet modern enough for when your stepping onto your private LearJet.

Great leather. Well put together. As I work from home remote I bought this for personal use. Fits my stuff for personal use including my 10 X 9 beach/park blanket and summer thin jacket and still lots of spare space. Lots of front pockets plus two side pockets one put my micro umbrella in. Other side pocket will put drink container in. Very recommended. Worth the price.

(UPDATE: Only a day or two after posting the original review, Polare reached out to me to offer to send a brand new bag with an improved zipper. I obviously cant tell if this will last longer than the original, but I have to say the new zipper is seemingly more durable and well constructed. I very much appreciate Polare for the fantastic customer service. Buy with confidence that if something does go wrong, theyll do their best to fix it. I am leaving the original review intact for context.) The bag itself is constructed well, but one side of the main zipper has never worked properly. The thread typically comes undone behind the zipped zipper, causing the zipper to become caught. Its quite frustrating when attempting to pull out a book or laptop while fighting the broken zipper. The fact that this bag came with a premium price tag makes this unacceptable and I would take your money elsewhere.

My wife purchased this bag for me as I was in the market for a new computer backpack since I had been using her Swiss Gear backpack for the past 6 months for work. When she first showed me the order online I wasnt that thrilled as its not what I am used to seeing in a laptop backpack. The day it arrived I opened up the box and was surprised at how well packaged it was for shipping. It was in a breathable cloth bag that was in an airtight plastic bag...nice. Opened the packaging and was immediately hit w/ the awesome smell of new leather, its like new car smell :) which is the best! I transferred all my gear (laptop, charger, dongles, headset, mouse, usb keys, notepads, padfolio, pens, phone charger, medicine, etc) out of the Swiss gear bag into my new bag and found that I had more room in this bag than in the Swiss gear bag! I really love all the pockets on the front as it accommodates all my work gear and is great for organizing it. All my dongles and chargers fit perfectly in the top outside horizontal pocket. The main compartment for the laptop is like a cavern, so much stuff can go in there and it provides more organization with two pen holders and two medium size pockets. There is also a zippered pocket in the inside top, which is great for storing my desk keys and usb keys. You have both a laptop and tablet holder, I use the tablet holder to keep my loose papers in for better organization. Another great feature is that this backpack stands up on its own and doesnt slouch or fall over like every other backpack I have seen/used as its sturdy. I also prefer this over the Swiss gear as when I wear it on one shoulder the bag stays in place, I dont have to hold the strap to keep it from falling off my shoulder, and the bag stays on my back as opposed to falling in between my arm and side like a normal backpack would. All in all you cant go wrong with using this as your laptop backpack, it has great features and organization, its not your run of the mill backpack that everyone at the office has, its well built, and it looks and feels amazing. This bag will hold up to a 17 laptop. I tested with a 15 Dell Precision 5520 and a 17 HP Envy. The 17 is snug and sits right below the main zipper, no issues closing the zipper though. With either the 15 and 17 I was also able to fit a 13 Dell Latitude e7240 in the tablet holder! I was able to fit a 16.9 fl oz water bottle in one of the side holders and a 15.9 fl oz thermos for coffee in the other side holder. Seems to hold up with the weight of two laptops and two drink containers.

UPDATE AT BOTTOM It seems the manufacturer is listening to these amazon reviews. Mine came with a double zipper on the main pouch, A thicker zipper, too, and velcro on the pouches. BEAUTIFUL bag. High quality. Absolutely love it. Edit: a month later, bag is holding up beautifully. Zero complaints. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Edit 2: Just over a year and a half or so on and unfortunately the bag is no longer usable, that the zipper has shredded itself and I can no longer close the bag, and the long pocket at the top has come unstitched. Very unfortunate because the rest of the bag holds up! The leather is high quality, but the devil is in the details with this...

First, let me say that the Polare Leather Backpack is an fantastic looking bag. It is made from very thick, high quality leather and I have been super impressed with it. I purchased the bag because I needed something that would look just as good whether Im wearing jeans or a suit. This bag mixed business and pleasure perfectly. The bag is extremely solid however there are some weaknesses in the zipper area (at least the original version). I travel a lot and Im not exactly gentle with my bag and eventually I did tear the fabric around the zipper and messed up a few teeth on it. This meant I could no longer close it up and needed to replace it. I had only had it for about 15 months when this happened so I contact Polare. They offered to send me a replacement zipper that I would have to get installed or a substantial discount on a new bag of which the latter is how I chose to proceed. In the new version, they have also fixed another problem I had with the original and added velcro to the pocket flaps which keep them closed. I never really had a big problem with them coming open but this is a nice fix. I had planned on just installing some metal and magnets in the long term if it did become a problem. I cannot tell you how many compliments and people have asked me about my bag in the time that I have had it, but I would highly recommend it.

After looking around local stores, including discount stores, I could not find what I was looking for. So I took to Amazon, but I am always concerned about buying things like this online because you never know what you are going to get. This bag is exactly as advertised. The quality is excellent! It is not real big, I would say a medium size bag. the only critic I have is the drink pocket on the side could be larger as it is hard to fit a small battle of water in it. Other than that, excellent bag! Excellent purchase!!
