Greater than one weekI have 2 slight criticism: 1. the straps on the inside of the bag that secures my laptop could be a little shorter to restrict movement; and 2. the absence of padding on the straps near the shoulder area. Otherwise, this is an excellent buy.

> 3 dayBest backpack I have ever owned - All cowhide leather and stitched to last, the zippers are quality and is overall very well made. The price is up there but when you get in in your hands and seen how well it is made and the thought that went into it, you will agree it was designed by backpackers. Side note - you will have to reshape it a bit as it will be a little flat from shipping; just pack some paper inside and set it in the sun for a while and it will fill out again. So many people like this pack that I now have it on my shopping list for Christmas.

> 3 dayThis backpack has really led me to understand the value in quality workmanship. Its really well made and it looks super sharp. I am very pleased with this purchase and could not be happier. The leather is pliable enough so that you can get odd shaped items into the pockets without fear of rupturing the zippers or straps. The leather look works in a commercial business setting, whereas a typical backpack would look too informal. Regardless of your age this bag is impressive and your kids will be asking to borrow it. Im close to 50 years old and my high school daughter and grade school son both have asked for their own to take to school to show off. I recently took the backpack to a conference and had several people stop me and ask where I found it. It was refreshing to look at all the other backpacks on peoples shoulders and know I had the best looking one.

> 3 dayDitch your run of the mill highschool back pack and enjoy compliments every day. Top shelf leather that smells great (not overpowering) doesnt bleed onto clothing and reflects your STYLE. The stitching could be heavier guage -- like a saddleback -- and it NEEDS a key leash desperately-- but besides that its a bag for life. Bought my bf one for valentines day n hit order again as soon as it arrived. Interior lsyout is functional n i love the safe zipper against your back. & the 5 front pockets are sick. Youll love it -- just dont tell anyone where ya got it!!

Greater than one weekAlmost 3 years and over 300K miles and I truly think this backpack looks better than the first day it arrived. Traveling around the world, this sturdy backpack is never for from my side. I usually carry 2 laptops (Dell and a Surface Pro) along with power supplies and tablet inside. Outside packets for meds, earphones, keys, etc. Side pockets with Anker 26000 battery and umbrella. This thing is rugged. Its been through a lot. Bounced around in an Australian outback land rover, airport security handlers, kicked under conference room desks, rained and snowed on in the Swiss Alps. I get lots of compliments and a couple offers to buy it from me. I highly recommend it for those that need a backpack that will go the distance with you.

> 3 dayI purchased the DrkBrown original because I wanted all leather. I absolutely love it thus far and I cant wait to field test it since I have a profession that requires extensive travel. The leather smell is extremely strong but I think that most of that will fade in time. This bag passes my vanity test as the appearance is very pleasing and the leather is thick and very heavy. It also can fit my 17 inch Asus gaming laptop (tight fit, as the dimensions 19in). I will update as I travel to see how it truly holds up.

> 3 dayThe Good First, let me say that I get many compliments on this backpack everywhere I go. I love the look of the leather even as it acquires scuffs and scrapes as I travel. It has a rugged manly look that many of my colleagues seem to like. This backpack does not have any flex or stretch. The strong leather construction does not allow you to stuff in more than it was designed to fit. That being said I had no problem fitting in my 17in ASUS Gaming Laptop with its power cord along with an IPAD, IPOD and Kindle Paperwhite. The side pockets can accommodate a water bottle and the 5 front pockets can store an assortment of power cords and accessories. 5 Stars for looks. The Bad The main zipper seems to be a strong metal type that you would expect on a heavier weight leather backpack but from the start I have had problems with the zipper not staying closed. After a few months the zipper is almost completely useless. I have not read any reviews that lead me to believe this is common issue with this backpack but for me this is a major flaw as it compromises the security of my possessions since the zipper will pull apart as a carry it and you dont feel it happen as you walk. The outside pockets have a simple strap that runs under a metal loop that keeps the pockets closed. I have found that the straps easily pull out of the loop as you are walking and anyone can easily access your pockets. I think a simple head button stud would do the trick. Unfortunately I travel all over Europe and having unsecured pockets is a deal breaker for me. - 3 Stars for a weak zipper and loose pocket straps that leads to unsure items and a sloppy look. The Ugly Nothing Ugly to report as of yet. I will be contacting the company who handles the 1 year warranty and I will update this review when the issue has been settled.
