> 3 day(UPDATE: Only a day or two after posting the original review, Polare reached out to me to offer to send a brand new bag with an improved zipper. I obviously cant tell if this will last longer than the original, but I have to say the new zipper is seemingly more durable and well constructed. I very much appreciate Polare for the fantastic customer service. Buy with confidence that if something does go wrong, theyll do their best to fix it. I am leaving the original review intact for context.) The bag itself is constructed well, but one side of the main zipper has never worked properly. The thread typically comes undone behind the zipped zipper, causing the zipper to become caught. Its quite frustrating when attempting to pull out a book or laptop while fighting the broken zipper. The fact that this bag came with a premium price tag makes this unacceptable and I would take your money elsewhere.

> 3 dayThe product is amazing. Great quality and durability. I have now used this bag for almost 3 months. No stitching issues like I have had with other leather bags. The original leather smell that you get when you first open this product is a simple pleasure of life. For those who do not like it, it will go away on its own (Unfortunately). The leather has held up perfectly. Its supple and strong, yet soft and reassuring. I use this as a daily travel bag to and from work as well as everywhere I go due to being the on-call IT person. It holds my 15 inches Microsoft SurfaceBook 2 in a padded sleeve with plenty more room. Along with 2 notebooks, a 46 mousepad that is folded. I have just about any and everything I will need to do my job in this bag. The front pockets have more than enough capacity. One note on the front pockets, if you overfill them, the front security strap will not stay in place easily. Ive listened to people using a variety of products to help with this, from Bees Wax to Saddle Soap. Both seem to work, however, the saddle soap helps keep the leather. I have had no problems with any of the zippers so far. The side bottle holders are good for small objects, but Ive yet to find a useful water bottle to actually fit. I have also had some small problems with the straps loosening while picking up or putting the bag down. AN easy solution for me was to add a simple stitch to the straps right after the metal adjustment clasp. All of this is in reference to the utility of the bag. Im not huge into the aesthetics of things, however, this bag is more than pleasing. I have received multiple positive comments on this bag along with inquiries on where to purchase.

> 3 dayI absolutely love the bag. The quality is awesome and the design is impeccable. Would highly recommend this bag over most leather bags you can purchase locally and online. I love it and it came on time and in good condition. The bag is designed very well and for a person like me who is a professional and a student, it meets my needs. I am able to carry all of my books without it being bulky or unwieldy. The laptop compartment fits my IPAD pro 12.9 perfectly.

> 3 dayThis is a heavy and durable real leather laptop backpack. When I opened the packaging the lovely scent of leather filled the room and I couldnt stop smiling. There are an impressive amount of pockets inside and out of the bag and will likely never fill it completely. The outside pockets are either zippers or leather straps with a Velcro fasten. Every interior has a lovely silky liner and the stitching is top notch. The side pouches for bottles are a bit stiff at first and can be closed with a leather strap and magnetic button. (The magnet is not the strongest and sometimes gets unclasped.) I intended to find a laptop bag that had the classiness of a leather briefcase with the functionality of a backpack and this is the result of my search. There were a few identical backpacks on Amazon with varying prices from different companies. I decided Polare because of the reviews but more importantly the double zipper on the main opening. I have used single zipper backpacks and get quite frustrated with this inefficient design. Save yourself some trouble and spend the couple extra dollars. I love this backpack but it can get heavy because of how much you are carrying added with the leather material this is made from. My one complaint is the flat straps for wearing the bag. I wish some padding was implemented on the underside while not removing the leather top. Its canvas straps anyways so would the aesthetics be that drastic? Overall an amazing piece of craftsmanship and bonus points for the steampunk/vintage vibe.

> 3 dayTo start off with, the bag smells AMAZING. This bag is definitely made of real leather, and feels and looks great, and marks easily, like leather should, and I like the aged look of the marks. The reason this bag receives 4 instead of 5 stars is the leather dye. After reading several reviews about this bag bleeding onto clothing, I decided to rub a white rag across the bag the moment I unwrapped it. Sure enough, it came saturated in dark, reddish brown dye. Im not a leather worker, so I cannot tell you why this is, but it was worth checking. I am a mechanic, my car interior is black, and most of my clothes are black or dark blue, and I come home most nights covered in oil, so this will not be an issue with me, my wife however, likes to wear bright clothing, so she will be unable to use my bag. I recommended curing the bag with Leather Honey to keep it protected, cause investing this much money in a bag would be ridiculous if you didnt take care of it. That being said, I look forward to putting some hard hours on this thing and seeing how long it holds up. On another note, the straps are leather and the cliché bag strap material, and use the strap through loop method (similar to military duffel bags, except without the teeth to held the straps in place) and are NOT padded. If you have weak shoulders, wear a thick jacket, or pack light, cause over time this could wear on you, and the straps may loosen. I would recommend this bag to others, as long as they dont wear light colored clothes a lot. As to the reviews about the zipper, it does appear rather small toothed for a leather bag, but that doesnt bother me, and there is a leather working shop near me I can use to upgrade the zippers. I have not had it long enough to see how well it holds up, but I will post a new review if it does not.

> 3 dayI read a ton of reviews on both the back pack and the duffel bag and was worried about the quality until i received them! Whatever problems they have had in the past have been corrected because both of my products came in absolutely perfect! I get tons of compliments on both and as far as functionality and storage its the best laptop/work bag i have had in the past 10 years!!!

21-11-2024I purchased this back pack a few months ago and have taken it 3 trips. It looks great and made of premium leather. I experienced one issue as the snap on the side pocket fell off. I contacted Polare and they immediately sent me replacements parts. As one reviewer previously stated there is a layer of cloth between the snap and the leather so replacement can be a little tricky. Overall a great bag, built with tough, rugged leather and is quite functional for laptops, phones, passports, clothes...etc.

> 3 dayI unabashedly have a bag problem as I seem to have fallen in to collecting them. However I am extremely picky about what I purchase since my intent is to use the bag to its fullest potential. This bag immediately caught my eye and I did my research by reaching out to Amazon community and asked those who had purchased this bag. I believe this bag is by far the best leather backpack that I have ever owned. It comfortably fits two laptops plus necessary accessories. It is my everyday carry bag. I highly recommend the product and the company who sells it.

> 3 dayJust took this pack across Europe and into Northern Africa. In the process we got caught in a severe downpour on the Alps. 1) You will read about zipper issues. It is heavy metal zipper build on a pliable leather. Go slow and you will be fine. It is high quality. No issue here. 2) You will read about.lining issues. The lining is quality and sewn in to a product with soft leather and heavy metal zipper. Close the bag with caution and you will be fine. No issue here. 3) The bag kept all of my things dry in a sever down pour on the Alps. Having said that. The bottle holders on the side retained water and the eventually permeated the inside very slightly. A product of a hard to water treat location. I poured out the cup plus of water from the holders and the whole thing dried quickly (and the result was basically condensation in the interior of the bag). The only slight frown was the bags bottom wasnt as well coated as the rest of the bag. This could also have been from the bottle holder permeation. But this was not light rain or medium storm. It was a torrent, and if that was the worst of it I find no issue. 4) You will read of the bag not being able to hold much. I dont know what others were carrying but I could not over pack the back and cause a weight problem and I carried heavy tech equipment the entire time [thankful for item # 3] 5) You will read of shoulder strap slippage from tightening down to the proper size. The straps are designed for you to loop the strap through the metal ring to prevent slippage after adjustment. No issue. To be clear, I used the bag daily from a month before the trip through the entire trip and hours at a time, as well as constant during the trip. This isnt a bought it two days ago here is my opinion review. As me questions for me details about how it was used. Well worth the purchase.

> 3 dayFirst off, this bag is not for the faint of heart. Its not lightweight. Empty it weighs a few lbs. Thats because its made with real leather, incredible well designed, and sturdy. Looks very sharp and plenty of pockets.. For the price you just cant beat it. Protects my tech plenty fine and everyone that sees it thinks I spent $4-$500 bucks on it.. Im a Back Pack/Bag aholic.. and this one by far has been my go to from about the time Ive purchased it.. Love it!!!
