> 24 hourIt is a little flimsy. I was expecting it to be more rigid. I had to iron black pants and they got covered in fuz. I recalled a reviewer’s suggestion to roll the sticky lint roll over the whole surface. I did so but it continues to lose fuz. I then just put my iron straight onto the surface to flatten the fuz and see if that does it. It minimized it but it still has little fuzzies. I just decided to lint roll the pants at the end. I didn’t pay much and this is used for crafting. I’ll use my good ironing board and iron for my garments.

> 24 hourThis is a good pad. But you may want to consider that it looks like a scratching mat to cats. Alas. Now mine is one sided, and hidden from Hannibal.

> 24 hourI bought this size to make a small ironing station next to my machine as I was piecing log cabin blocks. It worked perfectly...I pressed each piece after sewing and misted, pressed and weighted each block when completed. I was very pleased with the results. This size fits nicely on a small, adjustable Lifetime table. If you are using steam, do not place it on wood, unless you protect the wood surface. I plan to use this often in our RV.

> 24 hourI love it, you don’t have to have the big ironing board up and in your way! Set it on top of your work table and press your quilt blocks as you go. No hassle!

> 24 hourHaving a mat like this means I can take it to retreats without having to bring a full ironing board (especially if it is just for patchwork piecing). I like the size of it 17x24 is a good size and allows me to press easily a 12x12 block. The only drawback is the smell. Wet wool is a bit stinky. Other than that, I love this mat.

> 24 hourI could hardly wait to try out my 100% New Zealand Wool Pressing Mat. I was NOT DISAPPOINTED! My 1/2 square triangle units pressed so flat and crisp that I did not need to use my tailors clap, as I usually do to get a good, flat seam on my quilt blocks. The small unit did not move on the pressing mat, and I got a very flat press on the diagonal seam. I was using a little steam, but found that I get just as good a press without steam. There is a slight odor, not uncommon for wet wool, that seems to diminish with use. Thank you for this product. I am beyond pleased.

> 24 hourProduct does exactly what it was advertised to do. I have used it for two quilt projects so far and am more than pleased with this mat. The quality is as expected and the service was excellent. Thank you. NOTE I did purchase a similar mat from somewhere else and was not happy with it. Besides coming a month late the mat smelled terrible when the hot iron was used and the smell transferred to the material. Glad I tried a different supplier.

> 24 hourI have debated getting one of these, wondering if it was just another gimmick. The size of this one appealed to me as I have a small home/sewing area and this would fit great in space available. Tried it as soon as it arrived and i love it. The seams in my blocks pressed just beautifully. I noticed a great improvement with this as opposed to the ironing board. I will be recommending this to all my quilting friends.

> 24 hourI found out about wool pressing pads at a quilting retreat recently. Reading reviews it seems like there is a wide variety of quality on the market. After using mine I was very impressed with how helpful it is in pressing my quilt blocks. It retains heat and is very flat and even. I used a little steam on mine (on top of a thermo cool fabric to protect my table) and had no issue with it transferring through or with wet sheep smell. That said I didn’t use a ton of steam or for very long. I would definitely recommend this brand mat.

> 24 hourthis mat has a double purpose. I use it under my sewing machine and I use it for a small ironing board. Its not as stiff as I thought it would be so makes it a bit difficult to travel with. works well as a noise reducer when sewing, works well for ironing wee bits (as expected). Over all I am pleased.
