This product allows you quilt piecing to lay very flat. It keeps heat in which allows for a flatter piece of work. I may purchase one that is slightly bigger as I really love the way the heat stays in the mat. It never leaves my ironing board.

A smaller surface for small pressing jobs. Works great on a table top.

I had heard how much better they were then using a regular pressing method but really didnt expect it to be anything special. I took it to a retreat last weekend. It was so easy to just tuck in my sewing case without adding any weight.. It really did make a difference in pressing. It was much quicker and did make a difference in how the blocks turned out. I am thinking about ordering another one to use at home

I had bought one of the ironing mats that attaches to the dryer top with magnets, and it was a disappointment. The wrinkles never came out of it, and it was too thin. The wool mat is wonderful. I ordered a size to fit on my sewing machine cabinet right by my machine, and it is perfect for ironing seams when sewing. The wool ironing mat arrived well-packed, and it has been a great addition to my sewing accessories.

Pressing seams was easier using the wool mat. Seams came out crisp and well defined.

I like this pad quite a lot. The only downside is I initially purchased it when the description stated it was fine to use with steam. Unfortunately it has distorted the evenness of the pad. I would give it 3 stars due to it being misleading, but because it’s no longer stated that way, I’m giving it 4 stars, as it’s overall a fantastic pad.

I found that it works great, no smell after using. This brand was recommend, to me by a quilter. After reading a lot of comments about other mats - it sticks - poor quilty - wouldnt buy it again. I ask a quilter on what she uses and why. I would buy it again!Sandy

I agonized over which brand to buy, this is a littler more than some others, have to say glad I made this choice well worth the money, and no smell.
