> 3 dayEasy to use, works well, just not for what we needed it for. We were going to plug a space heater in with it that doesnt have a temperature control, but it didnt seem to support it. Used fine with other lights and such, though. We did find a use for it, so at least there is that.

> 3 dayOK to configure and connect to Alexa and Google. Programed my heater for the daily schedule based on time and temperature. Sometimes it shuts off and the configuration completely gets reset. Plugin and configure everything, if the power goes off or the internet disconnects or unplug and plug it back all setup goes off. It may be an issue with Smarthings apps. I will try with Alexa or Google to automat and check.

Greater than one weekThe item works okay, but chews through batteries. If batteries fail the wall socket can be left in the on position (potentially dangerous). If the remote/thermostat could be plugged into wall power, this might be 4 stars. Only other complaint is the two buttons... Makes it difficult to adjust things without referring to the manual as it needs just one more button to select what you want to change. UPDATE: The receiver gave up the ghost after 20 months. Slight ozone smell, so I think something inside fused. I wont be buying a new one of this brand.

> 3 dayThis is a nice product. Works well to turn my portable heater on and off throughout the day and night, keeping the room at a good temperature. The only thing is that it only shows celcius and so I had to learn the conversion.

> 3 dayTemperature indication was off by 4 to 5 degrees and very slow to respond to temperature changes. I tried it on my air conditioner and found it unacceptable because of this.

> 3 dayI bought this to control a through the wall fan between living room and bedroom, move warmer air into the bedroom when temp drops below 67F or so. It works well for this. Off a degree or two but easy to compensate. The issue was the hit and miss owner manual. I spent almost an hour trying to figure out how to simply make the temp show in F instead of C. I succeeded only after finding this information in the Amazon listing. Beyond that, the instructions read like “push a button (there are two) three times then hold the “other button” for 10 seconds, then push a button three times, then stand on your head and make a noise like a chicken”. It took me an hour of frustration. I copied this information by a screen shot from the product listing. FINALLY i got it working. UPDATE 2/23: It does what it’s supposed to. BUT IT SUCKS BATTERIES. 6-maybe 8 weeks from a pair of alkaline AAA transmitter batteries. The transmitter doesn’t require reprogramming on a battery change. AAA batteries are inexpensive. Just sort of a nuisance to change them 2-3-4 times every winter. Leave the receiver plugged in. That way you won’t. Need to re-pair from scratch on a battery change.

> 3 dayAs of its first fire up and use, good. Pain in the rear to set up. Even folloqing the instructions. I purchased this to control the torpedo heater in my barn while Im working. Previously I had to let it run until it was 80 then unplug. Wait until it was too cold to be comfortable, plug back in (no on/off switch). Wash rinse repeat 100 times a day, lol. Set the target temp (after much fighting) to 50°. Kicked off at 51.1°. Plenty close enough. Kicked back on at 49.1°. Perfect. Manual On and Off seem to work well also. We will see how it holds up but I am happy so far.

Greater than one weekThe thermostat stand that allows it to stand up on table is flimsy so hung control on wall. The unit works very well and Im satisfied with its performance.
