> 3 dayI got this for my dad who rehabs houses. We hooked it up to a salamander to regulate temperature instead of just turning the salamander on and off every 30 minutes. I had to look through the comments to learn how to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Aside from that it works fine.

> 3 dayI bought this in an attempt to regulate my window A/C more effectively. The A/C thermostat was either poorly functioning or just in the wrong place (i.e. on the machine itself), so the cooling never began or ceased when it was supposed to. Finally, with this device, I can keep the room at a sensible temperature. I agree with the critics who feel the user interface and instructions could be better, but I was able to figure out and am very happy with the result.

Greater than one weekUnit connected to smart life app after 5 tries, took 3 days to sync to Alexa. However, the unit does not detect tge current temperature, so its either on or off. I got the unit in order to have smart control over the heater, but without the current temp, setting a target temp has no effect. Additionally, unit keeps losing connection to network, so even turning on/off has to be done manually. Basically, this ended up being nothing more than a manual switch at the outlet instead of a networked, controllable device. Waste of money.

> 3 dayThis device ceased to be usable just days after return period was up, and destroyed the plug to my space heater. Some other issues: (1) After 1 week, the remote shut down without warning and my brand new AAA batteries, which I had just installed, needed to be replaced. (2) After 2 weeks, the plug started falling out of the outlet socket, making it hard for my space heater to work properly according to the temperature readings. I didnt return it because I wanted to wait to get a replacement thermostat before returning this one. Lo and behold, right when the return period was up, the plug was completely FRIED and STUCK *INTO* the outlet device-- it took me a good 5 minutes of struggling to wrench it out safely to make sure the plug to my space heater was not completely destroyed upon removal. The plug had black marks all over and I had to take some steel wool to remove the pockmarks that had developed all over my plug. I was scared that my space heater was broken, but when I plugged it into my regular outlet, it turned out it was working just fine. This device is destructive to electrical devices! Thankfully, now I use another brand of thermostat plug and it has not caused me these types of problems.

Greater than one weekTwo preventable design flaws: 1) instead of making the device wide and short, they’ve made it circular and bulky in a way that partially covers two receptacle outlets instead of one… the thermometer port is also positioned on the bottom of the device in such a way that prevents other plugs from sharing your receptacle. 2) the app has a bunch of poorly labeled settings, random use of underscores in naming, and just feels like it was designed by an engineer and not a designer. Overall, lackluster product for the price.

Greater than one weekI tested the unit and it took some playing with the controller to figure out how it works and to get readout in Fahrenheit. I thought on and off buttons were to turn it on but is always on if batteries in place and are only indicator lights to let you know if heater is on or off. I like that you can put the remote in the room location that you are trying to warm,

Greater than one weekThis device was exactly what I wanted, but I didnt get to try it with anything attached because when I plugged it into the outlet, I heard a high pitch (but quiet) hiss. My partner doesnt hear it. The hiss goes away when it is in the ON state....so whether or not it bothers you is subjective. but it did bother me. I thought maybe it was a defective model so I got another one - but the result is the same. will be returning both. They do look very sleek, and I have very little doubt that the rest of the functionality works well, but I havent tried it.

> 3 dayThe thermostat stand that allows it to stand up on table is flimsy so hung control on wall. The unit works very well and Im satisfied with its performance.
