Greater than one weekIt’s good device but for some reason the screen is defective and I ordered 3 of them. All of them have defective screen, but works with 1500 watt heater. 2 years ago I ordered it also from another one seller, have no issue, for the last month most of my orders on Amazon are defective or been used.

> 3 dayI got the Wifi version, ordered 2 of them. One of them works very well, the other doesnt power on at all, a complete dud. The one that works was easy to pair with the Smart Life App and it works with Alexa as well. Amazon says theyre sending a replacement for the dead one and it should be here tomorrow. Im using them (well, one of them right now) to control 2 5,000 btu window air conditioners (and probably 1,000w heaters in the winter.) Make sure you dont exceed 1,100w, thats all it can take, and unfortunately most space heaters are 1,500w. Luckily, most 5k btu air conditioners only use like 400-500w on high. One criticism is that, if the unit is off, Alexa cant change the temperature setting. You have to tell her to turn it on first, then tell her to change the temp. I hope the replacement for the dud works. Well see tomorrow.

> 3 dayBLUF: This item does NOT work as advertised. Period. At first, I was very happy with the installation of the plug-in unit with my attic fan. I put the batteries in, adjusted desired settings and within minutes of power up, things seemed grand. My ambient temp was about 89F, so I adjusted the target temp above and below to confirm operation as designed. It performed well. Packed up and headed down to the air conditioned living area and immediately noticed a drop of the ambient temperature to about. At noon in FL on a sunny day...not likely. Well, lets shower and let the system balance out. Minutes later, the ambient or current temperature falls to 78F. Interesting. Its working as if the sensor is in the remote - not the plug-in unit as advertised. The description specifically mentions use for attic fans. If I need to place the remote in the attic to sense the temperature...its not much of a remote, is it? Heres where there is a serious need for clarity in the product: The manual states under Intended Use and Principle of Operation that the product consists of 2 components: a Remote Control Unit with integrated temperature sensor and a plug in socket unit. The description on Amazon reads Temperature Sensor: Ambient temperature is detected automatically by the high-precision temperature sensor on the receiver socket. When current temperature reach to target temperature, the thermostat plug stop heating/cooling to measure the temperature to stay comfortable. So...which is it? I know which configuration it *behaves* like.

> 3 dayIt does work. I wish it had smaller hysteresis. As it is - its 2°C , +1°C and -1°C around the set point.

Greater than one weekIt took a little while to wrap my head around the logic of the app, the documentation could be improved. It helps if youve used the Smart Life app for other devices. Seems to be a solid little plug though! I havent seen anything else like it on the market, especially in regard to the flexibility of the scheduling and temperature functions. We ordered three more, for the random other space heaters around the house:-)

> 3 dayThis actually works really well. Perfect for controlling a small space heater in a room. Only issue i had was the contacts inside the plug in were spaced to far out so it would fully hold the cord that was plugged in. I took the cover off, squeezed the contacts together and has worked great since

> 3 dayThis is a nice product. Works well to turn my portable heater on and off throughout the day and night, keeping the room at a good temperature. The only thing is that it only shows celcius and so I had to learn the conversion.

> 3 dayThis is a great device to add temperature control to my cheap “always on” space heater. The programming, however, is non-intuitive and difficult. I am a tech kind of guy, but got pissed off trying to get this thing working.

> 3 dayNo batteries included, you need 2x 3A. Cryptic instructions in tiny text. Works great once you get past all that.

> 3 dayGreat product works well as designed. However, I wished the thermostat was located in the outlet plug in instead of the remote control. The beeping and light can be annoying for a bedroom.
