> 24 hourThis ring is lighter than the OEM chain ring..not that I notice a difference but if it matter to you keep it in mind. One side of the ring has recessed bolt head space - great if you plan on running a bash guard or not.. I have put about 100mi on this chainring ring so far. It has been through approx. 20k+ feet of vertical gain / loss so far. The frequency of chain drops has reduced significantly, however it still drops. The chain used to drop on the bottom bracket side, now it drops on the outside of the crank. I will most likely reinstall the bash guard I have in order to remedy this. For the trails I usually ride this is a great ring. Light, looks cool when installed without bash guard. Noise from the chain has been reduced. Albeit less frequent, I am still experiencing chain drops when pedaling over rocky areas.

> 24 hourSwitched my bike to 1x without a clutch derailer, and only through a chain guide on, have only dropped a chain once and it was on a very aggressive single track.

> 24 hourFive stars, superb build quality, i initially ordered a 36t but then realized that was too big for the trails in my area so Im going to order a 32t. My fault. I have no complaints with the chain ring , it has yet to drop a chain , even on the roughest trails. The teeth on this thing are super solid.

> 24 hourWas not able to mount chainring with standard size chainring bolts. The holes are just slightly too small for any of the chainring bolts that I have. Im not sure what size chainring bolts this chainring needs since chainring bolt sizes are pretty universal. Then again, its possible that Im just being dumb, given that 400 other people seem to have installed these chainrings without any trouble. Edit: took the chainring to my local bike shop. They dug around in their shop and found some bolts that fit. They said they had never seen this issue before. Based on the information they were able to glean from their distributors website, it appears that its only the 30 tooth chainring that has this issue.

> 24 hourOrdered the 34 tooth. paired it with an 11-36 10 speed cassette. Shimano Zee derailleur. My bike has 26 inch wheels with 2.4/2.2 tires and gear range is just right for everything from rough single track to paved bike paths. Chain stays on and everything runs smooth and quiet. It does what its supposed to do and does it perfectly. I notice the narrow wide design does have a little drag compared to a regular chainring, but very hard to notice when riding and the chain stays put with no guide. The price here is half that of most places and it arrived fast.
