> 3 dayHavent dropped a chain. Wearing out nicely as well. I first had it matched up to a 10 speed cassette, now I have it matched up with an 11 speed SRAM cassete - works great either way. I dont see a reason spending more money on another product - this one works great!

Greater than one weekHave ridden this about a dozen times both rigid and with front suspension. Ive never dropped a chain. Rear derailleur is a regular xt shadow, not a clutch. The trails I rode on are pretty mellow, but there have some slow and fast rocky downhills, a few drop offs and small jumps. None of these cause any chain drop. The 30T is nice because it lets me run a 12-34 9-speed in the back. Also, the natural offset of the 30T tooth causes better chain alignment. Pretty happy with this.

> 3 dayI put this on a 2011 Giant Trance I converted to a 1x10 with a Zee Crank. In conjunction with a BionIcon chain guide, I have never dropped a chain. This chainring came in blue and looks fantastic with my other anodized blue parts on the bike. Im not sure what else to say. If you need a 1x chainring, this one is probably the best and its cheap.

> 3 dayI was very skeptical about the narrow-wide concept, and although it made sense, I had my doubts that it would make a significant difference. I ride aggressively on very rough Austin trails, and despite various chain guides and tensioning devices, still managed to drop chains relatively frequently. I needed a new chainring though, so I decided to give this a try... and glad I did. I no longer run any guides or tensioners, and Im sold. The only downside though is that they are sensitive to chain wear; that is not to say that the chain wears faster, but that once it reaches a certain point in wear, it will begin to drop again in extreme circumstances... I can no longer let chains go until they start having shifting problems and skipping cogs... something I shouldnt do anyway.
