RaceFace 104mm Single Chain Ring

I use my mtb for daily urban commutes thru parks, over sidewalks and small jumps + the eventual trail ride with my wife and kids. Installation was simple, chain does not fall off, got rid of almost 1lb of weight and my green and black specialized rockhopper looks really slick

Installed it on my crank last year have been riding fairly frequently and the chairing shows only minimal wear. Dropped the chain only twice in the year

I purchased this chain ring to convert my ‘99 Gary Fisher Paragon from 3x9 to a 1x9. The chain ring itself is great and holds the chain in place during rocky trail rides without having to install a chain guide. This chain ring doesn’t come with bolts. Even though the original bolts fit perfectly, the 1X set up put the chain ring way too far to the outside and was making shifts into the large rear cog difficult. I ended up purchasing longer chain bolts with spacers that align the chain ring closer to the middle of the rear cassette which has improved the shifting.

Nice piece of equipment. Unfortunately I had to return it due to not measuring my bike before ordering.

Great value, high quality product by raceface. Ive been using 1x9, 10 with 41t biggest cog. This will help my low gear on long climbs in Tahoe.

Best single chainring you could ask for. Love the design. Pair this with a clutch derailleaur and say good by to lost chain! I also have a upper chainguide just to be sure especially for riding lift assist downhills but for trail riding, the chainguide is overkill! single ring is the way to go! never have to deal with that stupid front derailleur ever again!

works perfect, not chain guide etc needed, chain dropt off only once in about 1500 km, No problems shifting (1x9 setup with 11-32 cassette),..
