RaceFace 104mm Single Chain Ring

Just the little bit lower gearing that I needed on my 29er 1x9 replacing the stock 32t chainring. The stock crank arm was only drilled for the 104mm so this did the trick.

I converted my bike to a 1x in front with this ring and it has worked great. The 30T is a good substitute for a front triple.

So far, I noticed much better, but not absolute chain retention. A necessity for any 1x system. At this point I cannot speak for long term durability. Would be great if they made a narrow/wide chainring in steel.

104mm bolt pattern and it has 30teeth! awesome for my 1x9 setup on my specialized enduro. Love that the spacer is built in and the holes are threaded to receive the bolts. The narrow wide didnt hold my chain without dropping... my 13 year XTR deraileur was just not up to the task... so if youre switching to 1x setup, make sure you get a chain retainer or switch to a new SRAM type 2 deraileur with clutch to hold the chain tighter My crank now seems to creak a little, but maybe Ill lock tight it instead of greasing the bolts.

Just took my first ride on this chain ring and it felt great. I used it to convert to a 1 x 10 set up with my SLX shadow plus rear derailer and what it difference it made. Feels like a new bike. I wasnt sure about loosing my other cahin rings but Im glad I did.

Works great, easy to install , rode for 5 miles in a single track mountain trail chain never felt of. Installed on a chimano xt deore crank fit perfect.

Ive run this ring for around 100 miles, and have thrown the chain once. Ive done that with a mrp chain keeper thingy, so this ring is really well-designed.
