RaceFace 104mm Single Chain Ring

Race Face chain ring is of great build quality. I have run this now for two weeks on multiple rides and could not be happier. Shortened the chain properly and have had no issues of the chain jumping as th ring design is such that it retains the chain without any other assistance.

Second bike now running this sprocket from Raceface and theyre great. Color is tough to judge so hope you find the pics helpful.

Just the right size for flat o slight incline. must combine with 42T sprockets.

no dropped chains ever with this ring

the narrow wide thing is not a gimmick. On a normal sprocket the chain is guided in to place laterally only on the links with inner plates, The cross shaped wide teeth on this sprocket allow it to engage laterally with the outer plate links as well. This cuts the distance between alignments in half, allowing for much better lateral control of the chain and reduced drops. I have only dropped on chain since installing this and that was the fault of some pine needles which got caught in my free hub ran all the chain to the top on a down hill stretch, not a normal occurrence. My only worry is wear, I have a little over 100 miles on it so far and the red anodize has already worn off the corners on the teeth. this is to be expected to a degree, but only time will tell if it is will be a problem here.

Strong, lightweight chain ring. I have this coupled with Saint Clutch rech mech and under heavy downhill usage, only slipped the chain twice in about 6 months. Chain ring still in great condition, lots of life left in the teeth after 100s of miles of riding enduro. Easy to clean and makes the bike look cleaner. Running 1x10 and doing local enduro races with this chain ring, i also put this on my hardtail as it is a great product for the price

2 ride and so fair fantastic chain pops from take off but never slips Updated so far a hole season on dh and freeride and not a issue beat chain ring there is

It works Great. i changed my old 3x9 and coverted to 1x9 on Deored Hollowtech Crankset.

Works great - no chain guide and very few dropped chains. Only issue is that it is getting worn out after about 9 months of moderate use.
