It’s great! Would rate 8 out’a 8! No hate mate! Pro tips: Do your research. YouTube is a marvelous tool! Watch a few videos and see if it’s something your capable of doing. It takes patience finesse and doing it right the first time. That being said, when it comes to replacing your digitizer take your freakin time! You’re not changing a lightbulb here. Set aside an hour or more of uninterrupted time. I replaced it right along with the guy on YouTube and it was seamless.

Seriously difficult and tedious install if your glass has shattered. This is a good and complete kit but you are a rewarded with cloudy and rainbow effects on your screen. Makes the install not worth it.

Good kit but the new screen broke while installing it.

So I followed a YouTube video and when I got all the way through and went to put new screen on, I realized my screen has this weird strip on the side that’s not shown in any pictures and i’m not sure what to do with it… so I first tucked it under the lcd screen at first because that’s the only way the glass would lay flat but then it stopped working in less then a day and now it won’t respond at all even when I opened it back up and made sure it was all connected. I have it open right now and the screen keeps hitting zero when nothing is touching it and won’t let me put in or swipe anywhere else and respond. I’m hoping the seller will reach out to me because I don’t know how to get ahold of them about this. It is the right size of screen but this weird strip is really throwing me off and it’s not working anyways. Help please!

It worked for the first two months then slowly it started not working it would freeze then jump around like something was touching the screen. I have to put the ipad to sleep then wake it up to get it to work again. It’s been doing that for about a month and a half it started out as once every couple of days to now a couple of times an hour.

Thankfully many of the less expensive iPads have a glass screen that can be relatively easy to remove and replace. This kit comes with everything you need to replace the glass screen on your iPad. You will need to be willing to poke and prod and be comfortable with removing tiny plugs and screws to do this. I have used this kit twice. Every year or so my kid drops the iPad in a way that cracks the screen. This kit has saved me from paying hundreds of dollars for a new iPad when that happens. After replacing the screen the iPad feels new again. The touch sensitivity works like the original iPad screen. The one thing that I have not quite gotten right when replacing the screen is the home button. It is very tricky to have it site correctly on the screen and you can tell when touching it that it is not quite right. However with how the iPad functions using the touch controls it has not impacted the use of the iPad. Don’t deal with a broke screen, buy this kit and have your iPad look like new again.

This screen is a very easy replacement for the oem screen. Comes with everything you could possibly need and their customer service is fantastic. Hopefully I dont need to replace a screen again in the near future but if I do I will 100% buy from again.

There are dead zones in the replacement. I have to now use a mouse to be able to properly click on the dead zones in the screen. I would not recommend buying from them.
