Greater than one weekSo I followed a YouTube video and when I got all the way through and went to put new screen on, I realized my screen has this weird strip on the side that’s not shown in any pictures and i’m not sure what to do with it… so I first tucked it under the lcd screen at first because that’s the only way the glass would lay flat but then it stopped working in less then a day and now it won’t respond at all even when I opened it back up and made sure it was all connected. I have it open right now and the screen keeps hitting zero when nothing is touching it and won’t let me put in or swipe anywhere else and respond. I’m hoping the seller will reach out to me because I don’t know how to get ahold of them about this. It is the right size of screen but this weird strip is really throwing me off and it’s not working anyways. Help please!

Greater than one weekOverall, I would describe this replacement as “okay”. The touch screen worked perfectly, the already attached adhesive strips were very convenient and the included tools were fine (it was nice it included all the necessary tools). The screen itself had a few flaws: there was glue on the screen near the connectors. Also, I didn’t notice it until adding the screen protector, but some weird vertical streaking on the glass itself. I would buy this again, but only for a specific situation: this is the second time my son broke his screen, and the flaws in the screen were fine for him. If you’re looking for a “near perfect” replacement, I would not buy this.

> 3 dayNew screen is not as good quality as original. Adhesive tape provided is too thin to make contact and does not stay in place. Ended up using some extra tape I had from a previous screen repair. New screen seems very thin and brittle and lasted only a few weeks before it cracked. I thought the screen protector that I installed had cracked until I just took it off to change it out and saw the screen was cracked and there was lines in the screen this morning.

> 3 dayGreat product quality. There are some digitizer kits that use not great quality tape or materials and this one has the best per my research. Changing a digitizer needs patience and pre work. Watch how to videos before the work and during the work, set some time alone to do the work and you should be fine. I didn’t do that in my first attempt and the screen didn’t glue properly. Luckly the seller was really fast to respond and identify the problem and they sent me extra tape to redo the process. Amazing customer service! Second time the ipad is working perfectly and my daughter is very happy.

> 3 dayI did have a working button - until this turned my working iPad into useless trash that I could never again power up or use. It cost me a new iPad. Save YOUR money if youre considering buying this.
