> 3 dayThe kit from RepairPartsPlus makes replacing broken glass screens a breeze and makes an iPad function like new again! There needs to be better adhesive provided for the bracket that secured the home button because it can get pushed in if used too hard when using only a couple strips of provided adhesive. A small piece of adhesive that is used for iPhone batteries would be ideal. Also, the glass is no where near as strong as the OEM version. This is the third time I had to purchase this glass but this time I also bought a glass screen protector to hopefully make this time as strong as OEM (the iPad is and has been in a fully enclosed Otterbox case).

> 3 dayThis repair kit saved me over $1000 !! I cracked my screen and didn’t have the insurance to replace my iPad. This repair kit has everything you need to repair your iPad yourself! It was very easy to follow instructions! Just go slowly with patients

Greater than one weekAfter installing the new screen, which came with a new thumb button cable, I now cannot use my fingerprint enablement. The feature is disable within my ipad. My thumb is being recognized, but no fingerprint when placing it over the home button. I would look at another vendor for this support.

> 3 dayIt’s great! Would rate 8 out’a 8! No hate mate! Pro tips: Do your research. YouTube is a marvelous tool! Watch a few videos and see if it’s something your capable of doing. It takes patience finesse and doing it right the first time. That being said, when it comes to replacing your digitizer take your freakin time! You’re not changing a lightbulb here. Set aside an hour or more of uninterrupted time. I replaced it right along with the guy on YouTube and it was seamless.

> 3 dayGreat product quality. There are some digitizer kits that use not great quality tape or materials and this one has the best per my research. Changing a digitizer needs patience and pre work. Watch how to videos before the work and during the work, set some time alone to do the work and you should be fine. I didn’t do that in my first attempt and the screen didn’t glue properly. Luckly the seller was really fast to respond and identify the problem and they sent me extra tape to redo the process. Amazing customer service! Second time the ipad is working perfectly and my daughter is very happy.

> 3 dayOne side of my screen keeps popping up, allowing dust to get in. I feel that (certain type of) glue would work better the supplied tape.

Greater than one weekThe screen cracked during application. I took it to a repair place and they said it was definitely a poor quality screen and showed me the difference compared to what they had. I ended up paying the repair place. This screen was a complete waste of money.

> 3 dayVery impressed with the product. Went on YouTube and watched several videos before attempting. My only suggestion is that if you are not a patient person do not attempt this. Use your hairdryer to thoroughly and I repeat thoroughly heat little portions at a time of the side of your ipad. Then attempt to lift it will make things much much much easier don’t worry about heat damage just don’t and be patient it took me an hour to get off my screen and then another 30 minutes to get off the little pieces that I cracked from the screen because I was impatient and tried to pry it up too fast. Patience is the key to this. Patience and heat. Once the screen is off and clean, the rest goes so quickly. Just be patient and follow directions. I watched several YouTube video. I recommend you doing the same and pick the person who makes the most sense to you. Was absolutely over the hill that I only had to spend $65 to replace the digitizer (top piece of glass on Your ipad is called the digitizer if you didn’t already know that. That piece of info will come in handy later). I priced it out in my area once with Apple and once with an Apple care contractor both were around $200-$250. Totally understand now that is the price of labor because it can take so freaking long to get the top piece off. However so worth it if your patient.

> 3 daySo it does come with metal tools. But because they were metal these tools marked up the edges of the device when remoting the broken glass... this may not have occurred with a normal repair but my original glass was totally shattered which made removal challenging. Instructions are a just link to an OK video, not the best but it was fine. MOST IMPORTANT - this replacement screen has NO oleophobic coating of any kind. That means that fingerprints, etc. are out of control. You must get a separate screen protector to make this useable. You have been warned.
