> 3 dayVery impressed with the product. Went on YouTube and watched several videos before attempting. My only suggestion is that if you are not a patient person do not attempt this. Use your hairdryer to thoroughly and I repeat thoroughly heat little portions at a time of the side of your ipad. Then attempt to lift it will make things much much much easier don’t worry about heat damage just don’t and be patient it took me an hour to get off my screen and then another 30 minutes to get off the little pieces that I cracked from the screen because I was impatient and tried to pry it up too fast. Patience is the key to this. Patience and heat. Once the screen is off and clean, the rest goes so quickly. Just be patient and follow directions. I watched several YouTube video. I recommend you doing the same and pick the person who makes the most sense to you. Was absolutely over the hill that I only had to spend $65 to replace the digitizer (top piece of glass on Your ipad is called the digitizer if you didn’t already know that. That piece of info will come in handy later). I priced it out in my area once with Apple and once with an Apple care contractor both were around $200-$250. Totally understand now that is the price of labor because it can take so freaking long to get the top piece off. However so worth it if your patient.

> 3 dayI had issues with getting the glass to stay in place with the tape provided. It kept coming loose and button ended up pushing in slightly, making it not work anymore. Trying to fix button the glass ended up cracking. Even after being installed It is not the same quality as original, it didn’t feel sturdy first installed either. Not the best value for the price and effort

> 3 dayOverall, I would describe this replacement as “okay”. The touch screen worked perfectly, the already attached adhesive strips were very convenient and the included tools were fine (it was nice it included all the necessary tools). The screen itself had a few flaws: there was glue on the screen near the connectors. Also, I didn’t notice it until adding the screen protector, but some weird vertical streaking on the glass itself. I would buy this again, but only for a specific situation: this is the second time my son broke his screen, and the flaws in the screen were fine for him. If you’re looking for a “near perfect” replacement, I would not buy this.

> 3 dayAll I needed to get my iPad going again. Armed with some YouTube videos, I got it all done in an afternoon. I did weigh it all down with heavy books to let the adhesive cure. Perfect.

> 3 dayI purchased this directly from their website but they dont provide a way to review it there... The digitizer is fine but the home button broke after 4 months - 1 month outside of the warranty window... arg. There is no way to contact them about it since they dont answer the phone and the link they provide checks that your three months are up and wont allow you to continue.

> 3 daySo I followed a YouTube video and when I got all the way through and went to put new screen on, I realized my screen has this weird strip on the side that’s not shown in any pictures and i’m not sure what to do with it… so I first tucked it under the lcd screen at first because that’s the only way the glass would lay flat but then it stopped working in less then a day and now it won’t respond at all even when I opened it back up and made sure it was all connected. I have it open right now and the screen keeps hitting zero when nothing is touching it and won’t let me put in or swipe anywhere else and respond. I’m hoping the seller will reach out to me because I don’t know how to get ahold of them about this. It is the right size of screen but this weird strip is really throwing me off and it’s not working anyways. Help please!
