> 3 dayThe kit from RepairPartsPlus makes replacing broken glass screens a breeze and makes an iPad function like new again! There needs to be better adhesive provided for the bracket that secured the home button because it can get pushed in if used too hard when using only a couple strips of provided adhesive. A small piece of adhesive that is used for iPhone batteries would be ideal. Also, the glass is no where near as strong as the OEM version. This is the third time I had to purchase this glass but this time I also bought a glass screen protector to hopefully make this time as strong as OEM (the iPad is and has been in a fully enclosed Otterbox case).

> 3 dayVery impressed with the product. Went on YouTube and watched several videos before attempting. My only suggestion is that if you are not a patient person do not attempt this. Use your hairdryer to thoroughly and I repeat thoroughly heat little portions at a time of the side of your ipad. Then attempt to lift it will make things much much much easier don’t worry about heat damage just don’t and be patient it took me an hour to get off my screen and then another 30 minutes to get off the little pieces that I cracked from the screen because I was impatient and tried to pry it up too fast. Patience is the key to this. Patience and heat. Once the screen is off and clean, the rest goes so quickly. Just be patient and follow directions. I watched several YouTube video. I recommend you doing the same and pick the person who makes the most sense to you. Was absolutely over the hill that I only had to spend $65 to replace the digitizer (top piece of glass on Your ipad is called the digitizer if you didn’t already know that. That piece of info will come in handy later). I priced it out in my area once with Apple and once with an Apple care contractor both were around $200-$250. Totally understand now that is the price of labor because it can take so freaking long to get the top piece off. However so worth it if your patient.

> 3 dayWe have replaced many screens before and never had any issues. This replacement screen did not work and now the iPad glitches non stop. It worked just fine before, the screen just had a small crack on it. Definitely do not recommend you purchase this screen repair kit!

11-06-2025We’re really happy with the results of replacing our daughters iPad screens. They both were cracked and we really didn’t want to buy two more brand new iPads or replace the screens at the store for the same price!! My husband watched the how to videos and this was done in a few hours for each screen! Very tedious but doable! We’re happy and our daughters are grateful!

> 3 dayThere are dead zones in the replacement. I have to now use a mouse to be able to properly click on the dead zones in the screen. I would not recommend buying from them.

> 3 dayI had an excellent experience with this company. Everything you need is in the kit, except a maybe a hair dryer. The flex cable on my first delivery was torn and unusable, but RRP quickly replaced it with no problems. After that it was smooth sailing, relatively, for someone who has never done a screen replacement before.

> 3 dayIt took me a few (3 ish) hours to get this accomplished but I took my time and had an issue figuring out my new home button I had to install. This is definitely not a 1 hour project in my opinion unless youre a pro. First off, Im not an overly techy person but I can be handy so for $60 vs. $300...it was worth a try. Worst case scenario, Id be spending $400 for a new IPad. Best case scenario, I saved a ton of money and learned a new skill. I do recommend watching a couple YouTube videos first before ordering and I personally watched the video AS I did the install. It helped me to visualize what to do. You Do need to be EXTREMELY careful around the right mid-lower side of your iPad. I messed up during screen removal and damaged my home button cable and had to spend an additional $10 plus lost my Touch ID capabilities by not reusing my original. With the amount of damage I had, I personally may not have been able to prevent the damage. So far quality seems about the same as my OEM, BUT I immediately put a tempered glass on as an extra layer of protection that I typically have on it but didnt when my daughter stepped on my original screen. Adhesion so far is holding appropriately.
