> 24 hourI purchased this along with the dual lamp fixture. It states on the box of the dual lamp fixture to not use with the ceramic head emmiters. On the heat emmiter instructions it states that the heat emmiter should only be used with their wire type lamp fixture. It warns of a potential fire hazard if used in regular heat lamps. It says use only wire lamp fixture. Hope this info helps!

> 24 hourThis ceramic lamp works great. It heats up quick (slight smell) I use t for my red footed tortoise. He normally is outside but in the colder days I bring him in. ( I love in Florida) I bought this to keep him warm at night. The only bad thing I can think of is that It dries his tank out a lot faster than a basking bulb. If you have a rainforest type animal I would consider a humidifier when using this. But as far as temperature it’s perfect.

> 24 hourI have a catering company and instead of paying a boatload of money for a bread proofer, i built my own. The heat source uses one of these reptile ceramic heaters which gives off a gentle but steady heat which works perfectly for raising bread doughs in the cold winter months of Vermont!

> 24 hourShipped on time. My dog Shamus loves it. I tried putting a light bulb in his house but it was so bright he slept outside even when it was freezing. Now with the emitter his house is comfortable warm. I considered getting the 150W but decided on the 100W and I think it works fine. I think the 150W would be too hot. This is basically what the sold as a dog house heater but without the metal covering. Wish I have known about it years ago.
