> 3 dayI keep this bulb on for days at a time with no issues. Works like a charm, and my tortoise really appreciates the heat.

Greater than one weekUsing this in a homebrew fermenter. Heats up fast, puts out more than enough heat for the fridge im using.

> 3 dayI have a ton of Zoo Med products, and I have no idea how they could sell this crap product. My All Living Things CHE burnt out, so I bought one of these as an emergency for my heggie. First off, the smell was horrible for a solid 24 hours. Very strong, and I was worried for my heggies health. Second, it puts out very little heat. From 18in away and hooked up to a thermostat, this will stay on 100% with the house at 68 and the thermostat set to 74. It never reaches 74 and will only get up to 72. My previous CHE from All Living Things (same wattage) would cycle on and off with the thermostat just fine. It never ran at 100% duty cycle like this one does.

21-04-2025Works great. With one heat emitter it keeps my baby bearded dragons basking spot in between about 86-94 degrees Fahrenheit. If you have the zoo med lamp holder you can raise the emitter or lower it, to raise and lower the temperature.

> 3 dayThis is a very clever and innovative solution. I temped the bulb at full blast at around 400-degrees on its surface. Ouch! It is slightly fragile around the neck (where the metal meets the porcelain). Mine snapped and broke there, when a chicken jumped on it. My fault: I should have put it behind a cage.
