Repticare Infared Ceramic Heat Emitter (100 watt)

Good price and received it in quick time and good shape from Amazon or the seller. Used it for the last part of winter 2012 and so far this winter 2013 in Illinois in my dogs house. Still working fine.

This works well, puts out the heat without lighting up the whole room. No complaints from the lizard on this one!

I purchased this for my Iguanas 75 gallon enclosure. With a room temperature of 75 degrees, the temperature on the far side of the tank reached 80 within one hour. Works, and without the purple glow of the incandescent bulbs. The downside is that it is harder to tell if the lamp is on or off.

I use this heat lamp for my baby Sulcata tortoise. It warms up her 20 gallon enclosure perfectly. Were using this with a 100watt deep dome that we bought at Petsmart (All Living Things). The thing I like about this is it doesnt emit any light.

Well, it works, just dont put this up against your terrarium or the glass will break, i didnt realize I had bought the 100 watt not the 60 watt, lesson learned! Always read amazon info on product. lol

Outstanding product- I bought two of these six years ago (one as a backup) and I just today replaced the original. I use it for a bird cage (with a dimmer) approx six months per year so I figure something like 26,000 hours for the original. Not bad at all. Now I have to order another backup. Definitely worth the money for the life you get from it.
