> 24 hourwas super easy to install into steam deck. hardest issue was not stripping the steam decks screws they must be made with some sort of butter. word of advice if anyone is putting this into the steam deck. the steam deck screws to the back shell are SELF TAPPING. so do not over tighten them or you will strip them out. the screws the selves are like butter as well and one even came pre stripped from factory. the hard drive works as it should. was silly easy to install after getting the back cover off. if you are pealing the cover off like i had to with out a plastic shim start pealing it awake from the vent fan as its very easy to get fingers in that. DONT FORGET TO USE THE IFIX IT WEBSITE TO SHOW HOW TO DO IT. MAKE SURE TO DISCONNECT BATTERY!

> 24 hourMy Surface sleeps as expected and this drive Just Works™ for me on Windows 11 Pro, without applying any tweaks. As noted in other reviews here, this drive isnt reaching advertised rates, which is why Im only giving it 4 stars. That said, knocking off a star may not be fair to Sabrent: its not clear to me that this Surface can actually support the rates this drive is supposed to manifest; lots of Redditors are seeing caps of ~3000MB/s regardless of drive make and model. And *that* said, this drive is *significantly* faster than the OEM Samsung drive that came with tablet, especially for random 4K writes. Ive only had the drive since yesterday, but as of this writing, I strongly recommend this storage unit.

> 24 hourI ordered this SSD to replace the 64GB on my Steam Deck. Works well and I didn’t have any problem! I highly recommend if you’re thinking of doing that too!

> 24 hourDeck has 1TB ssd now. Reimagine process took longer than the actual physical install. I didn’t have a setup to clone the SSDs. Don’t freak when the Deck boots up from the reimage. Only my touchscreen was working. None of the buttons worked before an update occurred. After the reimage, an update occurre, everything worked! Time will tell how much faster the SSD is. I think I’m limited by the deck’s SSD bus.

> 24 hourFollowed Microsofts standard guide for a complete offline re-install of Windows 11 for my Surface Pro 9 using the official image, with the 1TB Sabrent swapped in for the original 256GB drive I had. No issues at all.
