> 3 daywas super easy to install into steam deck. hardest issue was not stripping the steam decks screws they must be made with some sort of butter. word of advice if anyone is putting this into the steam deck. the steam deck screws to the back shell are SELF TAPPING. so do not over tighten them or you will strip them out. the screws the selves are like butter as well and one even came pre stripped from factory. the hard drive works as it should. was silly easy to install after getting the back cover off. if you are pealing the cover off like i had to with out a plastic shim start pealing it awake from the vent fan as its very easy to get fingers in that. DONT FORGET TO USE THE IFIX IT WEBSITE TO SHOW HOW TO DO IT. MAKE SURE TO DISCONNECT BATTERY!

Greater than one weekMy original order was lost by UPS. Amazon refunded me and I placed another order. This time the item was shipped Fedex overnight. I didnt ask for it but someone there must have figured it out and gone the extra mile to make sure it didnt happen again. Its appreciated. I havent opened the drive yet but everyone seems to think its one of the best for the ROG Ally I plan to install it in. Im sure it will be great because it seems like the people at Sabrent actually care. Theyve earned my future business turning what was a negative experience into something positive. Thank you

09-06-2025Bought this to upgrade internal storage on the lowest cost steam deck. Installation was a breeze, and after following instructions to re-flash the OS, had 1TB of storage. Easy install, just be careful when removing the battery cable to not short out whatever tool youre using against the motherboard. I would suggest using something plastic with a sharp, thin tip to ease out the battery plug.

Greater than one weekSo far I have 0 complains to it. Worked well with my steam deck. The card shield when you put it on the new card might be a bit tight. But do it slowly, and it will fit like the original.

> 3 dayOnly install this on your device if you know what youre doing. You cant blame a company or product for breaking your tech while improperly installing this. If you successfully install this, its your Steam Decks best internal storage option. The only issue I had was availability. I wanted a more practical storage option, but it sold out too fast. Hopefully, when you read this, you can get the storage option you want at the regular listing price or cheaper. I guess Im a hardcore gamer as Ive maxed out the 256GB version but originally wanted the 512GB. Your mileage may vary depending on the types of games youre playing and at what frequency and volume. So, youll have to do the math on the accumulative install size of all the games you plan to play on your Steam Deck. I also want to note that Sabrent is excellently supporting the Steam Deck. I recommend looking into their USB adapters, USB-C Hubs, Steam Deck Dock, SD Cards, and charging cables. Some Sabrent executives love the Steam Deck and keep releasing accessories for it - so Id watch for future Sabrent releases. And no, theyre not paying me for this review. Ive just bought their products for my Steam Deck.

> 3 dayMy Surface sleeps as expected and this drive Just Works™ for me on Windows 11 Pro, without applying any tweaks. As noted in other reviews here, this drive isnt reaching advertised rates, which is why Im only giving it 4 stars. That said, knocking off a star may not be fair to Sabrent: its not clear to me that this Surface can actually support the rates this drive is supposed to manifest; lots of Redditors are seeing caps of ~3000MB/s regardless of drive make and model. And *that* said, this drive is *significantly* faster than the OEM Samsung drive that came with tablet, especially for random 4K writes. Ive only had the drive since yesterday, but as of this writing, I strongly recommend this storage unit.
