This not only is a spec monster in performance but its also such a beautiful piece of tech. Comes in a rose gold case thats super nice looking. Performance has been outstanding on my 1TB chip. My read and write speeds have doubled and notice a significant difference in load times while maintaining proper battery life. It was super hard to install but you play as you go and the brain figures it out. Deckready on youtube is a great person to follow while you do it. Not only was this ssd made for the steamdeck by a great company but it also performs just as good as any top preforming ssd on the market, if not the best preforming!. You might pay 20-40 dollars more for a new ssd like this but in my opinion its worth it. You dont have to deal with any secondary used market issues and you know what your getting straight from the factory. Sure you could pick up a used/new_other BC711 or PM991A ssd (which are also top performers) for around 125 on ebay but I didnt want to deal with the potential problems and stressors of having something go wrong with a pulled out and used ssd. If you share half my views, this is your item, right here!

Updating my review of this card. At first it works great with solid write speeds and solid read speeds. However, after sustained writes and reads, the card overheats and drops to around 40MB/s write rates, which is utterly useless to me.

I ordered this SSD to replace the 64GB on my Steam Deck. Works well and I didn’t have any problem! I highly recommend if you’re thinking of doing that too!

Got it on sale for $100 and it is a great value for that price. Works as expected in my steam deck, I have not had any issues.

Edit, figured it all out, its in my thinkpad x1 nano gen1 (with extension) and Im getting much better throughput than the OEM 2240 drive. This is a solid upgrade! R 5.190G W 3.947G, huge increase over stock, about 3G/2.2G. .. Put it in an SSD to usb-c enclosure to get things ready to clone a laptop. The Acronis software downloaded from the sabrent website did not recognize the SSD. It suggested a firmware update. There is no firmware update on the site. So the software was not available as stated, no worries, lots of other options even the trial acronis, which worked great. Be careful with the case, theres a magnet in it for some reason, this can hurt some electronics and credit cards. No idea why they would put a magnet in the case.

Bought this for my Steam Deck, installing it was pretty straight forward. And working great! Definitely recommend for Sabrent if you need an nvme drive. Note: first one came DOA, and was replaced quickly, no issues since.

After installing the drive into my steamdeck i not only noticed the increase in speed over the 64GB emmc but also improved battery life.

Got this 512GB model to replace the 256GB ssd that came with my Surface pro 9. Easy to install (youll need a number 3 torx bit to remove screw) and if you follow the instructions found online to create a recovery boot disk, installaton of Windows 11 on the new drive was easy peasy. No issues at all. No overheating, no freezing or lockups some other people are reporting with no name drives purchased on other sites. Great quality and gettting almost 4GB speeds both read and write. For 89 bucks, this was a no brainer upgrade..Thanks Amazon and Thanks, Sabrent.
