> 3 dayGot this one today and installed it into my Steam Deck, really happy with the speed because I can already tell my deck is running faster than it was with the original hard drive (256gb) Shipping was a nightmare as usual when dealing with fedex and it requires a signature so be prepared to wait by the door for 6 hours a day for around 3-5 days depending on how many times they delay your delivery. I can see the price is now up by over 100$ for this drive which really makes me happy I preordered mine for the lower cost.

> 3 dayOk yeah Im that person, I picked this up for my Steam Deck and it served its purpose until the 2TB version came out and now that is in the Steam Deck ... but what to do with this? I put it in a small 2230 external drive case and it is now my Windows 10 Boot partition when I want to boot my Steam Deck into Windows. It is sufficiently fast for the tasks it does, temps are reasonable (never really above like 65*C) and it just works. Sabrent knocks it out of the park once again.

> 3 dayInstallation on the Steam Deck is a breeze as expected. Make sure to take the heat shielding sleeve off the stock drive and slide it over the new drive, which is thicker so it will require you to peel the sleeve open and re-wrap it around the Sabrent to get it to fit around it. Easy peasy. The drive has excellent performance and stays nice and cool in the Steam Deck, so no risk of overheating like some others. Great addition for anyone looking to upgrade their storage on the Deck or any slim form factor device.

> 3 dayMy original order was lost by UPS. Amazon refunded me and I placed another order. This time the item was shipped Fedex overnight. I didnt ask for it but someone there must have figured it out and gone the extra mile to make sure it didnt happen again. Its appreciated. I havent opened the drive yet but everyone seems to think its one of the best for the ROG Ally I plan to install it in. Im sure it will be great because it seems like the people at Sabrent actually care. Theyve earned my future business turning what was a negative experience into something positive. Thank you

> 3 dayI got this to upgrade my steam deck. I wanted to set it up as dual boot for steam OS & windows. It went in very easily following the iFixit guide. and has been working flawlessly.

> 3 dayBought this to upgrade internal storage on the lowest cost steam deck. Installation was a breeze, and after following instructions to re-flash the OS, had 1TB of storage. Easy install, just be careful when removing the battery cable to not short out whatever tool youre using against the motherboard. I would suggest using something plastic with a sharp, thin tip to ease out the battery plug.

> 3 dayCloned and installed this in my surface pro 8, and it would start up and run for a minute or two before freezing, blue-screening, and doing it all over again. The surface pro only seems to work with particular drives, so since the description said it would work, I tried, and its wrong. Thats why the lost stars. Otherwise, this should be a nice drive for anyone using it for other systems.
