Safety 1st Magnetic Cabinet Locks, 4 Locks + 1 Key

> 3 dayThese locks are easy to install, work on almost any cupboard, and provide a nice snug close. Without the magnetic key, doors do not come open easily or are able to be forced open. Additionally locks provide an alternative, always unlocked feature with a simply push button. Highly recommend product for potential customers.

> 3 dayMaybe these aren’t necessary when it comes to child proofing and you could opt for the cheaper ones, but let me tell you my primary reason why I love these the most.. my daughter doesn’t pull on the cabinets with these on them, repeatedly banging them ever-so-slightly open and shut like what she does with the cheapo cabinet locks that allow the cabinet to open a tad. That’s a sanity-saver right there. I also love that these can be disabled if need be. I stick the key on the frig when not in use.

> 3 dayThe multiple engineers in my family all geeked out over the simple but very effective paper template that makes installation so simple. Once installed you cannot see them from the outside at all which was so nice after years of big bulky plastic things looking awful on our cabinets. Plus these are the first lock to totally keep my highly intelligent 3 year old out. The spring loaded ones similar to this she had figured out in under 10 minutes by just reaching her hand in through the little gap and pushing the lever down. These keep the cabinets shut much tighter so you cannot reach through at all. We just make sure to store the magnet key at the very top of our fridge. Also I appreciate that you can toggle a lever on the lock if you want them to stay unlocked. That way if you are going in and out of a cabinet over and over for a few minutes you dont have to use the key each time. Really nice lock overall and I have already bought more. Only thing I was slightly disappointed on (but really I should have asked about it first so its my fault) is that I had planned to put some of these on metal storage cabinet doors in our garage but the metal doors activated the magnetic lever and so they were stuck in the unlocked position. It didnt occur to me that the metal doors would do that as I thought it would have to be a magnet not just a piece of metal. Not a big deal I just had to get another solution for the metal doors but just something to be aware of if your cabinets have metal doors too. So long as they are wooden you should be good.

> 3 dayThese things are great. We have a 6 month old who is just starting to get around. We have done our in a different brand that did not have the ability to leave the drawers and cabinets unlocked.. These are even better. We use my parents as a babysitter. They dont need all of their cabanents locked all the time so it is nice to be able to turn them off when our daughter is not around. They install really fast. I found a great installation video on youtube. I also love how you can choose to turn the lock off without it my parents would not have let me cover their house with these things.

> 3 dayBest locks on the market... Magnetic key works through 1.5 of wood, has a bypass to disable if you will need constant access, and keeps the kids out. Please note the instructions work for a typical installation, but depending on your kitchen, such as drawers with a complete box and a seperate door face you may need to create your own mouting plan.

> 3 dayI really like these locks. The first one was a pain to install because of the tape not sticking to the door when I closed it. However all of the others installed very easily. After the first two I installed it took maybe 5 minutes to install each of the next ones. Very nice that there is little to no wiggle room to get fingers in the doors. One of these just failed the other day. When putting the key up to the door it would not unlock. Luckily it was side by side with another door so I was able to press the lock down with a knife to open the door and remove it. I am not sure how I would have handled this otherwise...

> 3 dayLove these, although Ive had a few problems with some of them catching properly. They are installed perfectly, but if I pull at the cabinet door hard enough it will open without the key. Not sure why..but this has happened with 2-3 out of 16. Although my baby is only one, hes strong and determined enough to open the dud locks I received. Plan to contact merchant about this issue and hope for replacements.

> 3 dayThe locks cost more then others on Amazon but it includes the screws and drill holes to fully secure the locks on your cabinets. Just dont feel adhesive locks are good enough to hold against a strong kid.
