Good product Samsung. Have to get used to the newer technology, havent replaced a hard drive for over 20 years.

Great product,, Great speeds, Not super easy to install. My bios detected it, but windows, Samsung magician, and did not show up as an unallocated disk in disk management. For anyone who has this issue, I had to uninstall my ide/Ata drivers in device manager to get it to work.

I literally took me 12 minute to transfer my Operating System from a older SSD to this SSD using Mini Partition Wizard. About 2 week ago my older brother cleaned up a older 240GB AData SSD drive that had quite a bit of running time on it. Rather than waiting for it some kind of error on it I was like Just play it safe with a New and Reliable SSD Drive. My Seagate I was using for my O.S. had over 65,000 + hours on it and was starting to give errors here and there. Now I boot up in 30 Seconds too and all my programs launch faster. Win.

Excited to get this and use an SSD to game. Unfortunately the Samsung Magician says that this drive is not supported or something like that. Im not sure if its because Im using a SATA to USB cable, because Im able to see this through Disk Management, so instead I wrote a new volume through there and it worked. Though it sucks that Im not using the features in Samsung Magician, I could be possibly missing out on a lot of things that I can mess around with the SSD, maybe use its full potential. Not sure.

Installed on my 2011 MacBook Pro. Replaced my 500gb hard drive. Install took 5min. Computer runs so much smoother now

I did some research before buying this hard drive. The benchmark tests on this drive were Superior to many other similar ones. The Evo 870 is a great all around hard drive and definitely increased the speed of my computer. Ive owned many hard drives and I really like this one.

Works amazing for gaming!
