What an amazing difference to an old laptop. 10X the speed and double the storage. I cloned the installed drive and just swapped the drives. The laptop started much faster with no further adjustments. I strongly recommend.

I bought this cause I seemed to always be running out of space on my game drive. Hopefully this will provide enough space to last while.

Replaced the hard drive in the laptop with this SSD. It greatly reduced the boot time and improved the responsiveness of the laptop.

I ordered this 4TB SSD to store my large music library. Initially, it seemed to format OK and work. Next thing I knew my computer wouldnt recognize the SSD. Ive never seen an SATA SSD drive behave this way, this fast. Im glad it failed before I copied my music collection to it. I tried the Samsung 870 EVO SSD in another computer and got the same result: dead. I also tried putting it in my external StarTech USB3 dock. Again, it wasnt recognized -- simply not there - stone cold dead! Obviously, a clunker from the beginning. All my other (and older Intel 520, Intel 730, Crucial MX200, MX300) SSDs work fine in both of my Ubuntu Linux computers and, I will add are built a lot better. The Samsung 870 EVO looks and feels like cheap plastic or very thin aluminum that wont hold up over time. $380.00 should buy better quality than this. I returned it to Amazon via their new QR code return system via UPS.

My wife had an old, but still decent, laptop that had a failing HDD. I replaced it with this SSD and now the laptop works better than new and had more storage. Cost more for than others of the same size but reviews make it seem like the better choice due to quality.

This took my computer from ok to wow! I used minitool partition wizard to migrate my operating system from my old hdd over to this ssd. The improvement is so profound that my pc feels like a brand new machine. My boot time is amazing and my load times in ESO have been slashed! Change to this ssd today, youll be amazed.

Was worried about cloning software comments about other types with no negative reviews noted on Samsung software. Bought and connected to 2010 pc with sata I hdd via sata/usb connection and started software. Not complicated only source and destination required and start: easy peasy…. Wouldn’t boot from ssd from usb but changed out drives and booted fine. Runs better than new now definitely awesome drive and software.
