Super fast, really the price is worth it, and it is Samsung there is nothing more reliable than them.

Acabo de clonar todo mi HDD en este SSD y los resultados son muy buenos. lo primero que hice fue la prueba con Cristal Disk Mark y los resultados me dejaron muy satisfecho. Muy fácil de hacer la clonación con la herramienta de Samsung. Espero que me dure bastante tiempo y funcionando bien.

I am very dissapointed, would not be surprised if this happened with HDD, but SSD that was not that heavily used is really a problem. I got error in windows error check, installed samsung magician and there we go some LBA are corrupted. Thankfully I did not lose any data.

Fast. Cloning software worked like a charm. Tricky to mount but that was more the fault of the Corsair bracket (hard to screw in). Great replacement for old HDD

Assuming you’ve done your homework, you know that this is the fastest SATA III drive available. If you want faster, you’ll need to change the form factor to NVME, likely M2. I mention it just so you know this isn’t the height of speed, but it’s the height for a SATA III interface and at that it excels. The price has dropped considerably since it’s release and the 2TB model was the highest capacity available when I purchased this. There is now a 4 TB model, but I haven’t tried it. All of my computers have this drive now. I’ve even upgraded the 1TB drives to this. All my laptops have a 2TB M.2 NVME startup drive and one of these for storage. That makes for terrific speed, low power usage, no heat and 4TB on a laptop. You can’t go wrong if you need a SATA III drive, fast and long lived (if you don’t know SSDs are life limited, but it’s a very long time). This gets my highest recommendation. I took off one star for gaming because you simply can’t get too fast for gaming and an M2.NVME drive is sufficiently faster to warrant buying one for gaming.
