Ive purchased two of these drives, (the oldest is a year old) and they seem to be of good quality and super fast. One was used to replace an older HDD in my laptop and one is a secondary storage drive in my desktop. Ive had not issues with them, although I did have a bit of a glitch with disk manager recognizing the drive when I first installed the one in my desktop, although Im pretty sure that was a windows thing and not the fault of the drive. I lucked out and got both of mine on sale, but even at regular MSRP they are a good value. I will buy again.

Excellent drive for the money. We upgraded a lot of older PCs with Samsung 860 drives and they really added to performance and extended the life of the machines. No failures after several years. I bought this to replace a 5400rpm drive in an old Toshiba laptop and performance was substantially increased.
