Amazingly fast hard drive. I cant say enough good things about this drive. Its fast, easy to install, and so far its been super reliable. M.2 is the way to go if you are willing to pay the price.

Holy buckets fast for what you get. Do yourself a favor and get one of these if you are still on a normal mechanical drive. Windows 10 installed in about 5 minutes with reboots.

Great performance! Will buy again when given the opportunity.

Boots my OS fast, takes about 5- 6 seconds before i have to log into windows from pressing the power button

Nvme ssds are amazing, I’ve heard different brand don’t compare to Samsung’s evo and pro edition . They are a couple bucks more but well worth the speed to where the speed is to fast for almost any set up! My bench was around 1.8GB/s read and 1.5GB/s write! This was installed with a pcie x4 adapter into an olde machine and just increasingly speeds. Really keeps my system up to date!!

This was pretty easy. I installed it in an ASRock Z170 Extreme7+ motherboard. I used the Data Migration software from Samsung to clone my existing SATA SDD. Then I ran the Samsung Magician and found I bought myself 5x faster read performance and 8x faster write performance not to mention the greater storage space. Im happy. I cant say much for reliability yet but given Samsungs track record Im hopeful.

Bought as a gift, she is happy for the speed up and light weight addition to her storage.

So fast its unreal. From power on to login to fully loaded desktop about 10 seconds. Once you go M.2, nothing compares-nothing.

I have become...something more. I copy entire operating systems with all junk in tact back and forth carelessly in minutes. No mortal task has use for such power...but maybe that is why it is so great.

Immense speed boost over SATA, if your computer has a NVME slot. Single sided. Works for the HP Envy x360 with the AMD Ryzen processor. Samsung drivers slightly increase performance, with noticeably quicker battery drain. Doesnt include the screw needed to hold it down. Havent experienced thermal throttling yet, but Im generally not doing massive data transfers.
