> 24 hourPerfect. Machine boots in around 3 seconds to login. Zero complaints. Lightning fast, silent, no heat, no fans.

> 24 hourGreat Product. The read and write speeds are amazing and boot times are in the seconds. Like I mean seconds. Was weird for me as I am used to slow laptops. Things I recommend is buy the 500gb as the 250gb fills up fast. Also do a clean windows install with the NVME attached to the UEFI boot for insane boot time.

> 24 hourOther reviews speak to the solid performance of this drive. Of course, it is early in its market lifetime, and the warranty is reduced compared to the other drives Samsung offers, so these reviews may take a turn if it sees severe performance drops as its used, but out of the box there is little question how fast it is. Installation was relatively painless, though I was moderately surprised to need to manually download a driver for it to be recognized by Windows - one that was perhaps slightly difficult to locate on Samsungs site, but again it was very new. Linux had no trouble recognizing the drive. I think it is important to say here that a drive like this is not for everyone. Indeed it is 5+ times faster than an 850 EVO, another fantastic drive, but for many users the 850 may as well already be instantaneous for most purposes. If you are such a user, you likely wont be dissatisfied with this drive, but you may find yourself getting little more out of it than you would the 850 EVO (which is also highly recommendable) or other SSDs.

> 24 hourI wanted to take advantage of my m.2 slot on my keyboard, and I wanted to boot up my OS on an SSD. The 960 Evo was a perfect choice! Boots up my OS and reads/writes programs on it quickly!

> 24 hourI docked one star because for an SSD that costs $120, one would expect that it came with an m2 screw but it doesnt; I searched endlessly through Lowes and Home Depot but to no avail, came up nothing until I stumbled upon a lone computer repair shop who offered me the screw for a dollar-shame on you Samsung for not including this screw! However, the performance more than makes up for the missing screw-its blazing fast I must say.

> 24 hourThe difference is apparent having switched from sata m.2 to nvme m.2. My boot time dropped from 12 secs to 5 secs. Snappy response. Good product, only problem was I had to fresh install windows.
