> 3 dayMuch faster than my SATA SSD! When configuring my ASUS ROG BIOS it can only work in SATA mode, not M.2. I learned that the hard way after much trial and error. It is faster than SATA despite the setting NOT being M.2.

> 3 dayThis NVMe drive is super fast and plenty large enough when combined with a standard SSD or mechanical HDD. Ill be honest though, the average computer user wont notice any difference between this NVMe drive and a SSD for a boot drive. So unless you edit/create large media or data files id recommend you save the money and buy a SSD. But if youre the advanced user looking for a good performing NVMe drive, look no further (although I believe Samsung has released the new 970 EVO and PRO versions)

Greater than one weekI went from a Intel DC S3500 Series SSDSC2BB300G401 300GB 2.5 to this EVO 250gb. It has cut my boot time by around 30%. From hitting the power button, to Windows 10 Home being fully loaded and ready to use is around 16 seconds. A good chunk of that is BIOS loading. That said, I also did quite a bit of services maintenance and other miscellaneous crap to shave a couple of seconds as well. Unbelievable performance to say the least. Im running the CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme VR GXiVR8080A2 purchased a few months ago. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075VSBNQZ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

> 3 dayAwesome. I was running my OS on an 256GB 840 EVO before this and it is definitely faster. I only had one issue after installing windows 10 on it the first time. I left my 840 EVO plugged in when I installed the OS so it didnt install a boot manager on this drive. The next day when I took the 840 out to put it in my laptop my desktop wouldnt boot to 10 on the new 960 EVO drive. I had this this before so I just threw the 840 in my laptop, reinstalled 10 on my desktop on the 960, then installed 10 and Linux mint on my laptop. I do get pretty low transfer speeds to and from internal my RAID 5 composed of 5 WD RE3 1TB drives running on an old LSI 8888-ELP RAID card. Like 180 MB/s max, but the RAID has been slower on this Z170 board than it was on my P8Z68 board. The RAIDs not degraded and its still fast enough so I havent bothered trying to figure out why. I dont think those transfer speeds are a result of the 960 EVO so its been working great. CrystalDiskMark and samsung magician numbers in attached photos. > 3 dayThe SSD has fast transfer rates and has been reliable so far. It gives your computer much better performance than a tradition spinning disk drive.

> 3 dayIts as fast as you could possibly want, windows 10 loads in 10 seconds from the time I push the button to turn on my laptop.

> 3 daySuper fast!. Love it! Using it as my main boot drive and application installation location. If you get one, I recommend to perform a clean, new Windows installation. Works great with a new motherboard which has a slot specific for it. Make sure your Windows software is in a thumb drive for motherboard recognition and easy, fast installation.
