Samsung 960 EVO Series - 250GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V6E250BW)

I bought the 960 EVO because I finally wanted to get an pcie nvme drive to see how good they improved my work flow and this thing did not disapoint. So far Im getting a little bit over the specified speeds for reads and writes. The only downside so far is that samsung doesnt have migration software for the 960 Evo yet on their website, but i can live with that. A nvme drive is deff overkill for general users or gamers, but if you have a heavy workflow that requires lots of reads and writes and you rely heavily on the speed of your machine to get things done I would recommend you try one of these out.

This PCIe NVMe SSD is an absolute beast. Im happy it was on a discount, because is one of the best purchases I have done.

Popped it onto the mobo, did a speed test, hit the reported benchmarks of 3200 read and 1900 write. Super pleased by this card!

This is by far the best money spent. This damn thing is 8 times faster than my ssd. Thing loaded in faster than I can snap my fingers.

SUPER FAST!!!! Great drive. Startup times are never more than 15 seconds with this thing. Ive been more than happy with it. I plan on buying another and running it in raid 0.

Just ordered mine. This drive will be predominantly Final Fantasy 15 windows Edition 4K and Dragon Ball fighter z. Final Fantasy 15 is going to be 188GB and Dragon Ball fighter z just over 4GB. Ill update this review when I receive it if its bad but I already know from previous use that these are great. ☆EDIT☆This drive is very fast. All of my games load twice as fast. No more waiting.☆EDIT☆

The SSD has fast transfer rates and has been reliable so far. It gives your computer much better performance than a tradition spinning disk drive.

I originally bought one of these for a custom pc. I was, and still am, very pleased with the performance on my pc. Very quick boot times, very spiffy during operation, etc. I though it was a good purchase. Then, I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 laptop. It was a little short on storage, so I went ahead and bought another one of these SSDs. It came with a SATA SSD in it that was short on storage, and putting this little bastard in my laptop greatly enhanced my performance. It sped up startup, it loads applications more quickly, and has more storage. I am very very happy with this purchase. You can bet as soon as I have a reason, I will buy another one.
