> 3 dayInstalled in Optiplex 3050 8th Gen Model | I used a Windows 10 USB boot for the install, UEFI boot; used a program called RUFUS to make the boot work. The windows 10 media creation did not work to boot off.

> 3 dayVery fast and reliable (so far) ssd. With my latest build i raided two of these and i think I feel a difference in speed and latency compared to my single 512gb 960 pro ssd.

> 3 dayCrazy fast compared to SATA III drives **READ IF USING z99 or lesser MOBO**: -If you have an older mobo like me (z97) make sure to update your bios and the m.2 drive will register as a boot drive after that. -Additionally and ironically, your m.2 slot (if you have one) is most likely going to bottleneck this drive, so order a m.2 to pcie adapter for your pcie3 slot. -Make sure to download samsung ssd drivers and make sure your m.2 drive has the latest firmware. -Enable Intel Rapid Storage Technology on mobo and DL newest version from Intel just in case After all that is done, you will be able to boot from this drive and fully embrace the speed it has to offer My picture has the Samsung 960 evo drive in the first speed test (mounted in the pcie3 adapter) compared to my crucial MX100 SATA III drive.

> 3 dayIm sure its fast, but I cant use it. The only way to connect it to the board is with a screw which was not included with the motherboard (it would connect to the 3-D print-support thread) nor the SSD. When I did plug it in and rig it stable, my computer refused to boot without clearing the CMOS. Even after removing it, I still had to clear my CMOS to boot. I months of overclocking, which has left me at base ryzen speeds with 2133mhz ram. Ugh. Unless you are running an brand-spanking-new Intel system, I do not recommend buying this.

> 3 dayI just got a new Dell 5680 that had a stock M.2 128GB SATA SSD, that SSD was fast, but too small. I researched a little and found my i7-8700 motherboard could use NVMe M.2 SSDs. I purchased a 960 512MB and the speed is crazy fast now. I am very happy. For the price and speed, the 960 is an incredible upgrade. If you can boot on a M.2 NVMe, get one, you will not regret it. :)

> 3 dayNo issues. I used Samsungs software to migrate the OS and data from a smaller Toshiba drive and all went well. The drive works fine and is very fast.

> 3 dayI knew this thing would be fast, but omg this thing blew my mind in moth size and speed. So first, the pics make it look bigger than it is, imagine a stick of gum, this is a stick of gum that you can put video games on; wouldnt recommend biting it though, probably tastes bad. Second, maybe its because I went to this from a 5.4k RPM HDD, but it blew me out of the water with its speed. Type your windows password, press enter, and BOOM WINDOWS, click Chrome, BOOM CHROME. Everything opens basically instantly, even my downloads are quicker now. If your computers motherboard has a NVMe drive slot, please buy this, you will not be disappointed, even better, install your OS onto it, youll thank me.

> 3 dayBought this SSD to replace the stock mechanical HDD on a work laptop. Its really fast. Not exactly cheap, but really fast. The cloning software actually worked perfectly as well, which was surprising.
