This drive is insanely fast. The boot times of my system are so quick I can hardly do anything after hitting the power button and its already up and at the login screen. So long to the days of spinning disks, they can handle the bulk storage life. This thing is as fast as it gets.

It is unbelievable what this did to my computer. I will never use a mechanical drive as my OS drive again.

I already had a fast gaming laptop, with 30 sec boot times, but with this as my primary I do a full boot in 15-17 seconds. Very fast for everything Ive thrown at it

over 3200MB/s read speed, almost 1400MB/s write speed. I love it.

Man this thing is awesome. I have heard people raving about it, but thought, is it really that much better than a standard SSD? Oh yeah! Just run CrystalDisk to see the performance differences, but you really do see it in the real world with boot times, application loading, etc. Ill never go back to a standard SSD after using this.

This was pretty easy. I installed it in an ASRock Z170 Extreme7+ motherboard. I used the Data Migration software from Samsung to clone my existing SATA SDD. Then I ran the Samsung Magician and found I bought myself 5x faster read performance and 8x faster write performance not to mention the greater storage space. Im happy. I cant say much for reliability yet but given Samsungs track record Im hopeful.

Ordered 2. Received one with M PCIe connector (one notch) and other with B+M (2 notch)(slower SATA) connector. Both labeled (with stickers) as: SAME P/N: MZVLW1T0HALR (this should be with a faster M PCIe x4 connector, but one is B+M SATA connector) One SSD has green circuit board, other has brown/black board, and ICs look different. Model of Both: MZ V6E1T0 (M has 2017.11 after, and B+M has 2017.10 after - production month ?) Difference in PSID Numbers: PSID of B+M: SDA1Y31ZZ5ZCYEU93ZYBT92JH4GJP8Q6 PSID of M: QLR909Q91U7BHVWKU5S7CJMYBEN03D1H Crazy that P/N is the Same for different interfaces. Says M.2 (2280) - PCIe 3.0 x4 NVM Express SSD for Client PCs, Sequential Read Speeds up to 3200MB/s and Sequential Write Speeds up to 1900MB/s. Looks like the B+M interface is SATA slower, not to those specs ?? (one would think B+M would suggest B or M speeds, but articles online say it is only for connector, and is slower SATA-only speed). Bottom line is, I ordered 2 same, and received 2 different, with one apparently slower (B+M) but Charged Same price. Amazon Prime member. Will update to report how Amazon Resolves.
