> 24 hourAmazon shipped me 4x 970 Evo 500GB M.2 NVME drives instead of 4x 860 Evo 4TB drives. Amazon was helpful once I got past the 1st level support person who could understand me. The problem then was the return shipping label needed me to pay for shipping back. Called them back, and asked for them to send me another label that would have shipping pre-paid, and they did so quickly. I was turned off by ordering $2,800 of hard drives, only to receive about $600 of something else. I dont know if I would order things like this from Amazon again.

> 24 hourI was looking to improve the load times of my games for my PS4 Playstation Pro and boy was I surprised at the difference in speed. The load times are so much faster (probably by about 10-12 sec) when loading my Assassins Creed game saves and also when scrolling through the main character attributes. This SSD was a Godsend!! The old OEM Toshiba HDD that my PS4 came with is nowhere near the speeds of this thing. It has taken out the frustration of waiting tireless for things to load. I will be testing its capabilities on a larger game such as Red Dead Redemption II next. Im already anticipating that the results will be the same- Spectacularly quick!! Get this if you are thinking of upgrading the OEM HDD to an SSD. You can probably get a better deal on Black Friday but why wait to save $20 or so. Do it now!!

Questionably Questionable
> 24 hourIve been using Samsung SSDs for both myself and family members to give their computers a massive boost in performance. When other cheaper brands have gone out, the Samsungs just keep on going. They also honor their 5 year warranty, which is nice. I recently put one of these in my PlayStation 4 Pro, which then allows me to enable a performance option in the settings. It cuts down on load times in games by up to 50%.

> 24 hourI bought the 2TB version of this drive to replace the 5400 rpm drive in my Acer Nitro Black Edition laptop. And boy does it make a huge difference when playing games (faster startups, faster load times)! I was pleasantly surprised at the read/write times running CrystalDiskMark, even after transferring 600 GB of data to it. My only complaint thus far is the data migration software that I downloaded from Samsungs website. It only allows you to migrate from the OS drive (which in my case is an M.2 SSD, which wasnt what I was wanting to clone). I wound up using Mini Tool Partition Wizard to clone my mechanical drive to the Samsung drive (using a SATA to USB-C enclosure). Installing the drive was pretty simple, in that I didnt have to fiddle with BIOS settings to get it to work, and it fit in my laptop perfectly.

> 24 hourThis Samsung SSD drive was so easy to upgrade with the provided software. It walked me through the simple process of moving everything from my old spindle drive without having to reload all the software application and date. Great new technology.

> 24 hourI just installed this in my used 2014 Optiplex 7010 Desk Top and the entire operation was fast, easy and flawless. My Optiplex now boots Windows 10 in eighteen (18) seconds from button push to login screen. Nothing special about this machine: onboard video with 8GB RAM. Samsung data migration software was very simple to use and took about and hour over USB A. When it was done the installation booted the first time (I did have to make the drive first in the boot sequence) and Windows 10 and MS Office 2019 both retained their activations. Measured speeds through the SATA is a hair over 400MB/s for both read and write. Less than published specs but exactly what I was hoping for given this Optiplex was shipped in 2014.

> 24 hourSo I have an computer for work thats pretty old but still has a i5 processor. It seemed kinda laggy and I didnt feel like replacing a work tool just for being a bit slow. So a coworker turned me onto upgradding to ssd to bring some speed up. OMG I dont know why all computers dont come with ssd. Im not gaming or running anything super complex but this makes a huge difference! Maybe this isnt the best for gaming or some high demand software. I really dont know, but for the price and ease of installation its a no brainer.
