Its a Samsung SSD, they are well known for their great products, and this has worked great for me with no issues at all.

Needed an ssd so I could edit video. This one has worked great. I believe it’s the mid level one from Samsung and it’s been working great. Product was as advertised and have had no issues

I have been using the 860 EVO SSD for around 11 months, and have not had one issue. It made my custom gaming oc able to boot in 10 secs (down from over a min w/ regular HDD). I recommend anyone who has a PC or Mac still rocking a HDD, change to the SSD and use it as your main boot drive (you will be asking yourself why you waited so long to upgrade). Dont forget to buy a mounting bracket for it!!

Installation was a breeze and the disk initialization/allocation was simple. I tried out Samsung Magician to install new firmware and run benchmarks but it doesnt seem like its required so I may just uninstall it later. So far I have two virtual machines running from this drive and it runs great. Fast and simple.

I bought this drive to use with my Xbox One X because I was noticing it was taking a long time to load some of the games I was playing. After getting this drive and transferring my games to it they load so much faster, and it has made my gaming experience that much better.

I bought this 1 TB SSD drive to increase the space from 500 GB to 1TB. Its easy to install. The good thing is its very light weight and compact size, easy to handle with and definitely faster than mechanical hard drive. So far so good but have to see the durability.

My only complaint is the actual drive space is only 937GB NOT a 1000GB or 1TB. That is significantly less than Samsung represents that youre getting. Other than that its all good. If I wouldnt gotten it for half price I would have sent it back.

Mornings I would turn on my computer, walk down the driveway for the paper, go to the kitchen for coffee and return to my desk to watch my computer still inn process of booting up..... literally took five minutes. Since Im no techie, I had an IT friend install the SSD drive. Now I turn on my computer and within seconds I am ready to work.... I, too, thought it was time to get a new computer but the SSD drive did the trick. -- and $78 is much better than the price of a new computer.

After four weeks of trying (with the aid of an experienced IT professional) I finally gave up and installed a new OS on my new drive. The Samsung cloning software did not work for me at all. No idea as to why. YMMV
