Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Had it for a week or so, working great, its the first time I upgraded to SSD and I love the change.

Samsung provides in-house tools for a one click copy of your laptops HDD and software to run diagnostics on the SDD. Very important, dont use freeware unless verified and no need to spend extra on 3rd party software. Specs met as advertised and overall user experience greatly improved from a 750GB HDD on an Asus Laptop bought in 2015. Very effective way to extend life of older laptop. Stick with EVO series for best performance!

The best thing about this ssd is the Samsung migration tool,it made data transfer a breeze.I did not notice speed differences between this and the previous ssd that I had which was a pny with 120gb.I bought this ssd because the laptop needed more data space.

I put it in to an older laptop, a Lenovo X240. I was a bit reticent opening up the laptop as it meant removing a number of screws but all went well and the drive simply plugged in to where the existing lower capacity drive was located.

Used to update my laptop - super easy to clone your drive missed nothing - great item.

Wont install! Ive tried repeatedly to install using Windows 10. No go!!

I dont know how other reviewers are testing this drive, but Im getting over 500 MB/sec read and write speeds in both Samsung Magician and CrystalDiskMark

this ssd drive is amazing boots super fast for being a ssd an not a m.2 or optane but u dont even need any faster then this can offer u best ssd buy u can find!

Exactly as advertised except showed up a day early. Took it out of box and plugged it in. And it worked. Us elderfolk like that kinda stuff.
