Love my 860 EVO. I have a couple and they are simple to install, copy to - using Samsung Magician - and they run like the wind. Cut my boot time to almost nothing.

This 1 TB SSD works just an anticipated in my ASUS N550 and is quite easy to install; definitely will buy similar products again from Samsung. Just as a friendly reminder, in order to transfer the existing data from your PC to this SSD, a SATA III to USB A cable is required.

I replaced my HDD with the 1TB SSD and the difference has been substantial. My computer starts in a matter of seconds, as opposed to several minutes with the old drive. Games load faster and it doesnt make any noise while running. I was able to clone my old hard drive using Samsungs software and it worked perfectly. Be sure to buy a USB to SATA cable if you are cloning, and plan for it to take several hours. The only thing I would do differently is buy a 2TB drive for the extra space.

I ordered a drive caddy and once the drive was mounted on the caddy it was easy to install into my 6 year old desktop as the primary drive and has worked perfectly since it was installed 2 months ago. Previously it took over 2 minutes to get to the login page and another 2 to be ready for use. Now the computer is ready to go in less than 30 seconds.

I am not a fan of samsung products. But This item has an great performance. It has been 1 year since i obtained, havent faced any problem.

Its a Samsung Evo SSD, theyre great. Make sure you update the firmware because I didnt at first (assuming it was up to date from factory), and ran into data streaming issues in some games (Forza Horizon 4, AC Odyssey). Updating firmware fixed those issues. Drive is fast, runs cool, and is reliable. Zero complaints.
