> 3 dayMy laptops performance is like new; thanks to this solid state hard drive. Before now, my laptop seems to take forever to boot, but now, the difference is clear. I think every laptop should come with a solid state hard drive.

> 3 daySamsung EVO SDDs are the best. Bought several used-good warehouse deals and all were in perfect condition and none appeared to have been used. I always connect them to Samsung Magician to test the drive and update to the latest firmware before use.

> 3 dayCompared to the old 5400 hdd this one makes the pc starts faster and somehow some improvements in starting apps. For gaming there aren’t any noticeable changes as my setup is bad to start with. Samsung migration tool from their website was easy to use to clone the window to the new disk, took some time but was easy 3-4 steps.

> 3 dayIm a novice with computers, but I was able to upgrade my Dell Inspiron with a new Samsung SSD hard drive using NewerTech AdaptaDrive 2.5 to 3.5 Drive Converter Bracket and a Apricorn SATA Wire Notebook Hard Drive Upgrade Kit with USB 3.0 Connection ASW-USB3-25. The Apricorn software didnt work - tried twice and it got to the end with no errors - but then failed. However, I was able to use the Apricorn USB 3.0 to SATA cable and the Samsung Migration Software (free download online) to download all files from my desktop to the SSD flawlessly. Installed the SSD into the Dell computer and turned it on, and everything was identical, hard drive data, favorite internet sites, Windows, etc. - just a ton faster to reboot, etc. Easy when you have the right tools!

> 3 dayDid a hard drive replacement on my mid-2012 MacBook Pro. Swapped out the 750GB HDD for this 1TB SSD (also upgraded the RAM to 16GB) and the machine is running faster than ever! If doing the same, no need to buy a dock, just need the adapter chord to plug the hard drive into the MBP to copy the HDD to the SSD and you’re ready to go!

> 3 dayMaking a new gaming rig will all the goodies for 2019 and this time decided to give a try to “something new” – cheap out and went for 2TB SSD from another vendor, only to find out that it is DOA and wasted so much time trying to make it work, even with all the advice from the that vendor (all kinds of “Power Down for 20 minutes and try to re-connect again” - seriously???). On contrary – my new Samsung 860 EVO / 2 TB took exactly about 5 minutes to install, instantly recognized by BIOS and Windows and pushing 560 Mb/s & 542 Mb/s for Read and Write – what else you need for “Games Storage” drive these days? I did own multiple Samsung storage units over past decade and never had a single issue with either –consumer and enterprise grade units. Would never consider to even try any other vendor after recent issue – Samsung ROCKS !!! Big fan.

> 3 dayIts a memory SSD. It arrived well packaged and in good time. My only complaint is the lack of USB-Sata transfer cable, which is recommended in the instructions to migrate data.
