I already owned an older model of this hard drive. I knew the Samsung EVO series were great products going in, this Model that I bought lived up to all my expectations.

Item is as described. Bought my first SSD around 5 years ago and since then I refuse to use anything but SSD drives. This item is no exception, you cannot go wrong w/ it.

Rejuvenated my ASUS laptop with 500GB SSD. Retired the 1T HDD not fully utilized. Use a SATA III interface cable with USB. Was not supplied; I had one. Download software from Samsung. About 1.5 hrs including install. No issues. The old drive will be docked for network backup with cable. Snappy.

Have a 4 HD camera recording system in our Airstream travel trailer. After 5 years the original hard drive failed. Even though it is not a rough ride While towing, constant use, heat and power fluctuation could take a toll on a standard drive. Decided to go SSD this time for the sturdiness, dead quiet benefit while sleeping and instant search/playback Performance.

I am highly impressed with the speed of the drive during boot ups and shut down in particular. Seems like a great product so far. With a fresh install of windows I am getting 4 second shutdowns and 10 second startups!

Easy install on my laptop, using an Acer 300 Helios. Works perfectly and I noticed the speed difference suprisingly

3rd one of these guys ive bought, and theyve all worked as needed. Used mainly for backup and editing photos/videos. Havent done much 4k, but it seems to work fine. Looking forward to SSDs becoming even more affordable.

This is a must in a pc build...fits a budget and greatly improves performance over just an hdd (which I ran only hdd for 2 years)..relatively easy to install (look up guides, etc)! SATA cable is not included, but they are inexpensive.
