Greater than one weekThe Samsung Evo line has been fantastic for me since the 840 evo...I’ve used these in everything from workstations, servers, Linux machines, windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 home & Pro, Mac’s and I even upgraded my PS4 with one! Bottom line these are fantastic and Samsung’s magician Software is awesome for windows, rapid mode is amazing!

> 3 dayHigh speed SSD with large amount of storage space. As with others, it has no moving parts and is smaller than traditional hard drives. Has great read/write speeds and does a great job speeding up program load times and large file transfers.

> 3 dayThe ssd and mount were really easy to use. I used free cloning (data migration) software from Samsung to transfer the files from my old hard drive to the ssd using a cable a friend gave me, and then I swapped out the drives with no problem. It took about 1 hour to clone the data and then 15 minutes to install the mount and ssd into an aging Lenovo m72e after watching a video on YouTube. I wish I had done this earlier.

> 3 dayGames like RDR2 and HZD load so much quicker now thank god! Best value at this price and it will only become cheaper as time goes by! I have the older 850 model for my PC I bought 3 years ago still going strong!

> 3 dayMy macbook pro early 2011 was very slow. I came across dome Youtube videos about SSD and memory upgrade. Though I bought new laptop, I tried to upgrade my old macbook pro. First I upgrade memory (RAM), there are no major difference in processing speed. Youtube videos took long time to load. Once I changed SSD, difference in speed is quite visible. It is good enough to use for few more years.

> 3 dayI pay a premium for my SSDs. Samsung is significantly more expensive. BUT you get fantastic free migration software. and have NEVER had a samsung SSD fail on me. Seems the SSDs monitor themselves for failing cells. then replace thos cells with spares.. when you first install this thing you can set how many spare there are (besides the extra that come with it they recommend 10%) If you want the SSD to last for decades you can probably set the spare cells for over 10%. Other than media storage (for which i use Western digital MY book type drives.. all my hard drives are SSDs now. To see teh difference between a moving part drive and an ssd.. is quite noticable just in booting windows. SSDs are FAST, use less electricity and have no moving parts. I love my Samsung SSDs.. (Cept they are pricy)
