> 3 dayBought to add capacity to a storage pool. Fast and a good value. That said, there are less expensive options out there (including from Samsung) if you are willing to sacrifice some performance.

Greater than one weekUsed for Home/business PC. Worked as expected - seems very fast and of course is silent which is sweet. Installed with no issue and the Asus BIOS and WIn10 install found it and installed with no problems.

> 3 dayI used this for my 2012 Macbook pro, it made startup time about 3-5 times faster and adding storage also quicker. The one thing is, if you are attempting this same or similar task, it was kind of difficult to format the hard drive before installation, ahem, thanks apple. Other than that this is a great SSD.

> 3 dayThis has made the perfect external storage (also bought an enclosure for $12 from Amazon). I am getting 440mb/sec consistently when moving large data blocks (multiple folders). This really adds to my data safety operations.

Greater than one weekI have never used an SSD to date, this thing really surprised me. I was looking to add additional storage to my laptop, I thought I had two compartments on my machine, I did not. So my idea was to migrate my current hard drive to a new one, . . . at my IT guys advice, I decided to try a solid state drive (Samsung specifically), and then reformat the existing HD and house it in a case to use as an external HD for the additional storage that I wanted. Everything went as smooth as one could hope for, I backed up all my stuff, did a defragment and about 3 ½ hours later AFTER I started the migration I had an exact clone of my existing HD, (Samsung’s downloadable software to migrate the drives was super easy to use) swapped the drives and was blown away by how fast everything loaded and functioned, I was so happy with the performance and ease that I went to my local Best Buy and bought another one for my sons laptop, his was equally as easy and impressive, so impressive that I bought a 3rd one, but a WD Blue this time, I’m going to use this one as an external in a case to go with MY / our laptop. SSD is the way to go, very awesome, I’m super happy as well as everyone else that has been using it.

Greater than one weekWorks like a dream. Notably faster than a HDD. With the upgrade to something like this. Installing windows/linux or cloning your old drive may require a little know how however, but easily done if you are familiar with this sort of stuff.

> 3 dayBest High-End SSD for the $$$. I got this for $129.99, which is a steal. I bought the 1TB version and completely happy with it. Speed on loading like games, software, and rendering video is great. Awesome warranty and tested to write a minimum of 600TB (thats a good amount).

> 3 dayYou have to use a script to format the drive to make it Xbox compatible for use as your main hard drive. Microsoft has a utility that allows you to install the Operating system from USB drive. Everything is super fast. Every single aspect of my Xbox is better from the operating system to loading the games. I am now the First one Loading into Fortnight, Call of Duty 4, and Destiny 2. I load in before my little brother does on his Xbox One X.
