Greater than one weekI made a search for the best ssd on the world, the reslt was EVO 960. In the beginning, i decided to take NVM 970pro but my laptop did not have M.2 so the Evo 860 ssd was the best second choice for me. the rate of loading for 187 Gigabyte was 19 minutes which like 10G per minute.

Greater than one weekJust upgraded from a sanddisk 500gb SSD to this as it was on sale and it works great, it seams just as fast as the sanddisk and now I’m running off a 1tb SSD. No complaints here

> 3 dayPurchased two of these (one for each of the two laptops in the household) to use for boot drives. Much faster than the old hard drives, and with a fresh install of Windows 10 (win 10 and Linux on one the computers), the boot time is much faster and overall performance improved. This is one way to bring new life to aging personal computers...

Greater than one weekI run two 1TB 860 EVO drives in raid 0 with an external SSD for backups of important files. Its insanely fast and great for load times for apps and games as well as file transfers to and from my NVME SSD.

> 3 dayReplaced the 5400rpm drive in my laptop with this, and now its SO much faster! Everything loads super fast, its like having a new high-end laptop. Even a cold boot into windows is no joke about 10x faster. Lenovo w/ Core i5 & 12GB RAM. If you use a USB-SATA cable and cloning software, you can clone the system drive and then just swap them. Laptop will boot right up.

> 3 dayI decided to save some money when I bought my laptop and got it with an old style spinny drive. I put up with it for far longer than I should have, but when I saw what this SSD was going for, I finally pulled the trigger. Installation was a breeze, though it would be nice if the drive came with mounting screws. My old drive had different size screws which didnt fit. Luckily I had some extras lying around that did.

09-06-2025Added as a second drive in my 2012 MacBook Pro (already had a 840 as a primary). The drive blazes with large files and alternate OSs.
