> 3 dayLo he instalado en un macbook white bastante antiguo que quería desechar por su lentitud, pero le he dado una nueva oportunidad con este disco y ha funcionado de maravilla, lo lleva instalado ya hace mucho y no ha generado ningún inconveniente.

Greater than one weekReplaced an HDD on an 8 year old Sandy Bridge era PC, obvious improvement, everything loads and runs far smoother. Shouldnt be too much of a surprise over mechanically searching those disks. If youre running an old slow system with an HDD consider switching to an SSD instead of trying to upgrade your RAM first, unless you actually know that youre running out of that memory.

> 3 dayThis hard drive turned my old laptop into a new computer. It’s much quieter, runs faster, doesn’t run as hot and starts up much faster. The installation process was surprisingly simple as well. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI have never used an SSD to date, this thing really surprised me. I was looking to add additional storage to my laptop, I thought I had two compartments on my machine, I did not. So my idea was to migrate my current hard drive to a new one, . . . at my IT guys advice, I decided to try a solid state drive (Samsung specifically), and then reformat the existing HD and house it in a case to use as an external HD for the additional storage that I wanted. Everything went as smooth as one could hope for, I backed up all my stuff, did a defragment and about 3 ½ hours later AFTER I started the migration I had an exact clone of my existing HD, (Samsung’s downloadable software to migrate the drives was super easy to use) swapped the drives and was blown away by how fast everything loaded and functioned, I was so happy with the performance and ease that I went to my local Best Buy and bought another one for my sons laptop, his was equally as easy and impressive, so impressive that I bought a 3rd one, but a WD Blue this time, I’m going to use this one as an external in a case to go with MY / our laptop. SSD is the way to go, very awesome, I’m super happy as well as everyone else that has been using it.

Greater than one weekBuilt my first computer from scratch. This hard drive was exactly what I was looking for as far as a large SSD for storage of files.

Greater than one weekBut the drive is great, odd that it didnt come with a setup disk, I had to use the disk I got about 8 years ago with my first SSD.

> 3 dayThis was the biggest hit of all the Christmas presents we gave out. It went on sale by a huge amount before Christmas so my brother was shocked when he received a 1 TB SSD hard drive instead of a traditional 1 TB, especially with it being a super reputable Samsung SSD. He had no problems installing it in his desktop and luckily already had a shelf so he didn’t need a mounting bracket, and I knew enough about computers that a simple photo of his motherboard box allowed me to choose something that would fit. However, as someone who no longer has a desktop and hasn’t installed an SSD into anything but a laptop, it would’ve been nice to see COMPATIBLE 3.5” to 2.5” mounting brackets suggested just in case he didn’t have a shelf in his desktop case as the description doesn’t adequately address many things, nor does it offer detailed images. If I personally didn’t know so daggone much about hard drive configurations, I would’ve passed this one over due to the terrible quality of the description. Great product, horrible description for anyone who hasn’t repeatedly disassembled and reassembled many different desktops and laptops over the years (AKA the AVERAGE consumer)! Help your customers choose your product more easily, seller!

Greater than one weekWorks very well, as expected. The only reason it didnt get five stars for gaming is the SATA interface on them is quite a bit slower than the NVMe/PCIe M.2 drives. For a SATA drive, it works great and you cant get much better.
