Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

I put this SSD in an older Dell Inspiron N5050 i3 laptop and it is much faster now. It boots faster and loads programs faster. This SSD is a great investment.

This was just what I needed, but I was not able to get my laptop hard drive to clone to this new SD drive so I had to return the item.

This replaced an older Samsung SSD of lower capacity (and approximately same price.) The unexpected bonus was that Samsung has cloning software available for free download that made the swap even easier than I had anticipated.

Coming from an HDD to an SSD, definitely feel the difference and has a nice look to it. As a gamer, really love the fast load time.

Luckily, everything ran smoothly and worked out great! I bought this product to migrate my OS from a tiny SSD. It was extremely easy to setup using an external USB adapter, and Samsungs Data Migration software. It was also simple to replace it physically. Everything worked, hurrah... but seriously, backup your data first just incase.

My laptop previously had an HDD (hard disk drive) and it was infuriatingly slow, laggy, constantly froze, and took forever just to boot up. Unfortunately the drive finally died on me and my brother recommended a SSD instead, saying my laptop will run a lot faster.
