Greater than one weekI have purchased Samsung drives before and they have always performed admirably. This one was no exception. I plugged in the usb cord and it was recognized by Windows immediately. Two thumbs up!!!

> 3 dayGot it today. So far no issues. Copied 500 GB of files to it in 22 minutes, USB 3.0 from a mid-2015 15-inch Macbook Pro. Am pleasantly surprised at the speed, fast enough to use as an online drive, opening / saving large files in Photoshop. Didnt reformat the drive and didnt bother with the supplied Samsung software. If any issues surface, Ill amend this review.

Greater than one weekI was looking for a different way of storing video when editing in Final Cut Pro X. I have another external hard-drive for all my media but needed to have a way to pull off only the media I needed. Saw some reviews on this one and tried it and LOVE it!

> 3 dayI’ve only had this for about six months, so I can’t really talk about the longevity of it, but since it’s SSD I’m assuming it will be good. It loads fast, and it’s easy to use.

> 3 dayIf youre looking for cheap SSD storage, the T5 is a safe bet. Im coming from hard disks, so 540 mb/s is more than enough for me.
