There is no better device for fast, portable storage out there short of the Thunderbolt 3 version (thats also significantly pricier). Ive been using it for close to a year now and it handles everything I throw at it like a champ with sustained read and write speeds of around 500 MB/s (slower but still responsive with random access).

Just received this ssd plugged it into my pc windows 10 and formatted it to NTFS since I’m using this for storage and not for sharing this way no password needed very quick transfer 39 movies in 6 minutes and over 1000 pictures so very happy with the performance

Good for cost

OMG! Amazing HD! Technology has really come a long way. This thing is tough and so tiny. I can put it in my pocket. AMAZING!

Second one I’ve bought, no issues at all, quick transfer speeds in a sturdy, portable package. Really happy with this.

Have several T5s (1GB & 2GB) for backing up my Macs (via Time Machine), and love them. Compact, sleek-looking, and fast. Maybe not the cheapest, but given how long Ill use them, worth it.

This is my 5th portable SSD from Samsung. Kept a few and gave a couple to family members. Well made, good quality, fast read and write speeds all while in a small & light package. Highly Recommend. Not the cheapest portable SSD, but then, you get what you pay for!
