If you move to Mac OS Catalina, prepare to LOSE ALL YOUR DATA. The drivers are not compatible and my data just disappeared. How Samsung could let this happen is unbelievable.

Runs fast.

The speed claims were not realized on my 2013 Mac Pro. Read/write speeds topped out at around 330/340 mps. I realized the usb 3 ports on the Mac Pro aren’t built in hardware but I thought the drive would deliver at least 400/450 mps read/write speeds but that wasn’t the case and just moving files seemed to take a very long time so I had to send it back. 800 bucks cost can’t be justified when my raid is giving me a little bit better performance. I might as well stick with the raid.

Easy to add storage to any computer. Small and compact. Will store and be able to take my music any where.

Ive had a lot of portable storage over the years. I saw this as a trial for SSD that was Apple compatible. So far so good.

Inevitably media can and will fail one day no matter how well or poorly made. Always have disaster recovery options.

Plugged into my Xbox One X and was instantly recognized and formatted. Im not a hard core gamer, but I definitely noticed improved load times in Diablo 3. This will probably add a couple of years of life to my system.
