This drive is just plugged and play, with no issues at all, and is set as the main backup drive. The funny thing is I ordered for my backup only to learn I had already purchased one for my wifes computer which I never put into play. Well, I decided to return it and Amazon sent me a return ticket, then I thought its a great drive and will need eventually so why send back. very happy with any and all Samsungs drives.

This device is very slim and compact. I have only used it for a month or so, but operates just fine. It is a little on the slow side though. That being said, Im pleased with the purchase.

Cumple mis espectativas, se siente solido en la mano y muy ligero, tiene conecciones USB tipo C lo cual se agradece por la velocidad de copia y borrado, trae dos cables ara transmision de datos, uno USB tipo A a USB tipo C y un segundo cable USB tipo C por ambos extremos. Hyper speed.

If you ever have used Apple iPhoto or its successor Photos, you might know that it can get pretty pokey when you add a large number of photos. My wife was always complaining about how slow it was and I watched her on her Mac and it was painfully slow.

All is Perfect , Light Durable , But the Transfer speed is Low .. not more than 40 MB / S !!

I’m a software engineer, and I live by the words “you can’t have too many backups”. The T5 is a great little SSD, and it’s pretty fast. I mostly work in VM’s, so at the end of the day I make several copies of the VM file. My 50 GB VM copies to a T5 in just under 2 minutes.

Everything is perfect about it.

Fast drive. Works as described. Well worth the price.
