Until recently, Apple iMacs shipped with internal hard drives or fusion drives that are slow. I have a 2017 iMac with a 1 TB fusion drive and it is slow.

Very fast and compact external SSD. Would give 5 stars for SSD itself. The software to manage this SSD is kind of annoying. On my iMac, it just keeps showing up to the front while copying data, and I can not use any other software. Hopefully they will fix the issue soon.

Ive had mine since May 30 and it has performed flawlessly. I did not download the software; using it strictly as another thumb drive. I backup new modified files daily with Windows 10. Would recommend product to anyone seeking additional storage and backup protection.

Tiny, fast enough, light/compact. **Be aware** The USB adapter to type C that comes with it limits the speed of the drive. The rest works fine.

Register it online, no issue, works well.

I am using this SSD as my Time Machine on my MacBook Air. Works really well.
